Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

You can take that chance.
After what happened last year I'm not with any pick that we have except maybe a 6th.
I agree. But i wasnt referring to the OP's post and idea as it is an aweful one IMO.
I was talking about my trade idea.
Denver gets:
#10 Overall
#41 Overall
DT-Albert Haynsworth
TE-Fred Davis
Washington gets:
#2 Overall
Then with that #10 pick I think we could honestly trade down to the number #17 spot with NE or the #18 spot with San Diego. I beleive they will both be wanting the best 5 tech 3-4 end in the draft. I beleive either Cameron Jordan or JJ Watt will go to Dallas leaving the other at number 10. NE and SD will not want to risk IMO Houston trying to get the other. Therefor with both teams having two second round picks they would be willing to trade up.
I would say trade the #10 to San Diego in exchange for the #18 and the #50
I think both would be a realistic trade and very good for us. I would still take 2DT's in the first 2 rounds. I would take one in the first still with the trade.
We wouldnt have to take a TE at all. Quinn and Davis would be the primary two with Gronkowski as the number 3 backupup.
With my trade I would go:
1st: DT-Cory Luiget
2nd: DT-Stephen Paea
2nd: S-Quinton Carter
2nd: DE-Sam Acho
2nd: SLB-Bruce Carter
3rd: MLB-Kelvin Sheppard

I'd say Mikel LeShoure is more likely than Paea if they take Liuget and trade for AH, and I'd go RT instead of Beal
Sorry about the Beal/Acho mixup but I'm not in board with taking a guy who won't start over guys who either would.start or split the starting job.
Well like every one presumes we will take 2 DT's in the first 3 rounds. Even you with taking PP in the first beleive this right.
Well I can assure you that we dont start two DT rookies in the middle. So what the hell is wrong with having a depth rotational DE. Plus you want leshoure. Would he start. Probaly not. Therefor depth is not out of the question. These players will not be givin a starting spot. They will have to earn it. So we expect possibly one of the first 3 picks to be depth and competition. Especially if we take 2 DTs in the first.
Do you remeber the beginning of the preseason? Haynesworthless was all over espn because he couldnt pass his physical.
In Tennessee he played around 320 and was very effective.
In Washington he plays around 350 and very much less effective.
Are you kidding? me as a NOSE TACKLE you have to play at a bigger weight he cant play at that weight meaning he isnt a NOSE tackle that weight he was meant to put on.....

LeShoure would get half carries.
I'm actually more on the "only draft 1 DT early" train now.
But what about a RT to protect Tebow's blind side? Chris Clark isn't exactly...great.
In a 3-4 the NOSE TACKLE is meant to play at 350+ lbs and thats what Washington wanted out of him once shanny came in and changed the scheme and rightfully so they are paying the guy bank. BUT he cant play the position he has played in a 4-3 his entire career in Tennessee. So he was made out to be a punk because he and shanny didn't see eye to eye on that he wants to play in a 4-3 again last year he had 13 tackle and 2.5 sacks in a 3-4 and not starting very much. "played 50% of the games last year" to his 41 tackles and 8.5 sacks in his last year in tenn. His image is battered a bit but the guy is looking to prove people wrong and for the right price I think it FAR out weighs the bad.
