    Casey Matthews is overrated.
No need for Smith when we have Quinn who was fantastic as a blocker when used last year.
Daniel Graham was let go, IMO we need another TE.

With the current state of the NFL, no trading of players, etc. I realize I'm leaving areas of concern out of my mock, just trying to grab as much talent as possible with the picks as they sit right now.

    Feel free to flame away!

Round 1 (2) DT Marcell Dareus, Alabama - Defense is the #1 problem in Denver and I believe you build offense and defense from the inside out. The trenches is where it all begins on the football field, so Marcell is my pick. He is capable of anchoring the line for years to come.

Round 2 (36) DT Stephen Paea, Oregon State - Paea and Dareus should clog the middle for years. Run Stop!

Round 2 (46) LB Mason Foster, Washington - He was the captain of his defense in college and he can be a captain here. Al Wilson if you will. Has a nose for the ball.

Round 3 (67) LB Casey Matthews, Oregon - You don't necessarily have to be a big LB in this defense and I just can't deny the bloodline. Good football instincts.

Round 6 (186) TE Andre Smith, Virginia Tech - Big blocking TE fits the John Fox mold, plus I think his receiving skills weren't used to the fullest in college.

Round 6 (189) RB Derrick Locke, Kentucky - Potential Big play ability, could give offense and special teams a shot of energy.

Round 7 (247) DE Ryan Winterswyk, Boise State - Hard working player in the Ben Garland mold. Hard working, means contributor.
I like the mock....But if Pea is our second round pick...We need to get a compliment to him. I say go with Fairley. dareus and Pea are both run stuffer's. I think fairley would be a better fit since he tends to play a lot more in the opponents backfield. That will also give us some pass rush from the T position

Love the first 3 picks. Hate the next two. Love the last two.

I would say we need to add a safety at that 3rd round pick you have. And then at the 6th move Derrick Locke up and put a FB at the 6th pick.

I like the Casey Matthews pick i hope we get a chance to select him.

With our first pick a big part of me want to select Fairley,i think his positives he bring out weighs his negatives.IMO if we miss on selecting Fairley with the #2 selection,we will regret it later.

Thanks for all your hard work in this mock i appreciate it.
