  • McShay/Kiper Mocks (need INsider help)

So apparently both Kiper and McShay have 3 round mocks out, and (of course) you need ESPN INsider to see them. I would really appreciate/CP the person who posts them here for us to see. I'm interested to know what they believe we will do with our 2nd and 3rd round picks. I know these are usually not exactly precise, but I enjoy seeing what the "experts" think.

    Kiper:
The 2011 NFL draft is set up tp be one of the most unpredictable in years. But that doesn't mean taking a shot at a little pick prognostication isn't in order. Here, Mel takes a look at how the draft could go through three full rounds.

The only guy Denver has shown any interest in there is Dareus.

I would be happy with either mock. Each pick addresses a pressing need.

If we get both Moore and Rudolph in the second round, that like having 2 first round talents dropping into our lap. I would jumping for joy if the Broncos manage to draft both of them.

It's like they've never heard of John Fox before... drafting a TE in round 2, they must be out of their mind. They get paid to predict what will happen. Not go "they need a TE, so they'll spend a high pick on one!"

Fox never spends high picks on TEs.

EDIT: well, except for Seidman. Then that pick backfired on him, and he spent the next 5 years drafting 4 TEs in rounds 5-7

You do know that they dont have every player they end up drafting in for workouts. Plus how do you know they didnt interview them at the combine or pro days.

They can also just watch all of his tape together.

I like the 2nd mock more except for the TE.

I would love to see Ayers drop into lap. I would be so happy.

Want to CP bet that Denver drafts a guy they had an official visit with, not named Nick Fairley, Patrick Peterson, Marcell Dareus, or Von miller?

Rounds 2-3, barring any major trades including loss of picks.

Akeem Ayers and Corey Liuget are two guys who I would love to fall to 36, but I doubt they will.

Not a big fan of the Kyle Rudolph pick.

I agree here on all points. And I do realize that Fox isn't big on TE's, but Rudolph is a good blocker, which will help the run game and he can also catch anything that comes near him, which would be great for a young QB. And just a few months ago there were mocks having Moore go as high as 16 to the Jags, so that would be a nice pick up and address a need to boot.
Decimating the competition, leaving in the wake a blind ambition.
