  • Dion Lewis- Best RB in Draft?

I'm all in on this guy. I love everything about the way he runs, and I really think it's crazy that he doesn't get more love. I realize he's small, but honestly some of the greatest running backs ever were this size (Barry Sanders comes to mind). I put together this profile that goes pretty in-depth, and offers some evidence from film to back up my love for Dion. Give it a chance.

Thoughts? Do you think Dion could fit in our backfield? Anybody else have a favorite RB in the draft?

He's not the best but I do really like him. Him, JaQuizz, and Ryan Williams.

The one thing that concerns me about Lewis is that over the last couple of seasons, is that Dave Wanstedt really ran him an awful lot.

He reminds me of Kevin Smith when he came out of UCF and was drafted by the Lions. He was used so much in college that by the time he got to the NFL, he couldn't escape the nagging injuries.

Lewis isn't a really big guy, and has missed time at Pitt with shoulder and ankle injuries. I think he's a tad overrated based on what he did in his Freshman season, but he's a guy who'll always seem to have nagging injuries.

I don't think so, what's his weight? I highly HIGHLY doubt fox takes a 190 lbs running back especially since he likes bigger backs 215 and up, I wouldn't be surprised we take a big power back. One thing with fox's running backs if one goes down he likes the run game to continue like nothing happened and when your backup is a speed back.... that doesn't happen, undersized backs can't carry the load

A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

He did have a ton of carries, but he only played 2 seasons to Smith's 3. Smith had about 400 more carries than Lewis, but your concerns are definitely fair. If he can stay healthy, watch out for this guy.

I'm sorry man he just doesn't fit the size when he has too bulk up to get to 200 lbs I mean look at the backs on Carolina Williams 217, vaughan 232, Stewart 235, Jackson 240, goodman 215 he just likes big backs man Moreno is our Williams and now we gotta find our Stewart

He's 203 and only 5'8 he's stacked! And he's one of if not THE most powerful back in the draft he just has speed as well AND he's used to carrying the load he just had like 320+ carries and STILL averaged over 5ypc so do ur research before u say nonsense about him being 190, not a powerback, and someone that can't carry the load lol that's just plain wrong

320 carries in college which is way way different then the pros. Just cause he has leverage doesn't make him a power back, that's like saying Chris Johnson is a power back. I'm sure he will do fine backing someone up else where I just doubt its in Denver because our COACH likes bigger backs there's 3 over 235 on that lust I gave you and every back on there roster is over 215. Just from a personel stand point I don't think he makes it, all his backs are like 6 foot and up and 215 and up
