Bring the Pitt connection

I watched a Pitt game that was being replayed and I figured Denver wouldn't hurt to pick a WR because Jaber and LLoyd are over 30. DT(who i love) has ??? about his durability. Royal and Decker look solid however im not sold that either can be the #1 guy. Thats why i wouldnt mind grabbing Baldwin in The second if we can add one more.
#2) KnoShow Moreno is getting a repution as a bust. Im not sold on that but i am starting to see the failure. Buck is old and im honestly surprised he still is on this team. I doubt he will stay past camp. Lendle looked pretty solid but tore his hamstring. That brings me to Dion Lewis RB PItt. This guy has everything that you want. The size is a little concerning but he should be fine. What do you think.

Henry Hynoski, FB Pitt. A must have pick.

Llyod should be traded. Contract is up at the end off the year and I don't see him being resigned. His value is maxed with his performance and our injuries to our WR roster. Trade now or get nothing for him.

I bet an Orton / Lloyd combo trade would seem very appealing and we could get almost a whole teams draft out of them both as a combo.

Brandon Lloyd is like a spring chicken. He may be 30, but he has the wear and tear of a 25 year old. He has at least 4 quality years left.

Eric Decker showed he can be a solid possesion receiver. Eddie showed he can be solid out of the slot. Matt Willis should get a shot, maybe Brit Davis too.

Knowshon Moreno is in no way a bust. Period. The fact that you mentioned that, is a little bit stupid.

He has 2000 all purpose yards in 2 years. He leads all runningbacks from his draft class in rushing yards since being drafted.

John Fox has used a 2 back system, and I would like to see Lance Ball get a shot. He reminds me a little of Jonathon Stewert.

Baldwins not a diva and he is definately a great pick if we pick up an EXTRA 2nd. He is a top 20 talent imo

If KnoShow could stay healthy he would be ok. However it took Knowsho a year in a half to rush for 100yd game. he is only 9 yards in front of Shady Mcoy and that is only Mccoy's first season as the starter while KNowshon has been the starter both years.

He has been great. Behind an awful offensive line. Get him some run blocking and he will blow McCoy out of the water.

McCoy played a majority of both seasons, Westbrook was injured most of McCoy's first.

Baldwin is a headcase. He is an unpolished, egomaniac who would be a locker room cancer. He was stubborn and arrogant with his own coaches. I wouldn't touch him in the first 2 rounds for any team. I wouldn't even think about him for us.

Decker should be #2 guy this year. If healthy, I just do not see Gaffney or Royal beating him out in camp. Royal should be PR and slot WR, and Gaffney can back up Decker and Royal. Willis is intriguing as a deep threat behind Lloyd.

Even without DT, we are a solid 5 deep at WR, so unless we entertain trading Lloyd or Royal, I do not see the need for a WR in this draft. Looking at those scenarios:

Trading Lloyd (would only be a contract thing): We still have DT, so I think we would sign a vet, a guy like Santa Moss. Someone who would take a short term deal and would not block DT down the line.

Trading Royal (sure Shanny would be in): A vet like Lance Moore for the slot or draft a WR like Edmund Gates or Titus Young in round three.


Since it does not look like we will be able to trade anyone pre-draft, I would think we are set at WR this year and unfortunately we may end up getting nothing for Orton or Lloyd if we do not extend contracts.

So no on Baldwin

I'll take the picks for next year, with some picks depending on how well that team does. I'd go with Decker, Gaffney Willis and Davis for a year and see what they have. Royal should be back 3/4 into the season.

Some of the stuff he said about the QB and the team intentionally trying to lower his draft stock was just stupid. He also got arrested for indecent assault a few years back (butt grabbing, iirc).

He's a great talent, but don't try to portray him as a great guy. Getting a big payday when he goes pro probably isn't going to help improve his attitude.

This any guy who comes out and says his coaches are hurting his draft stock, because they don't give him the ball enough, reminds of Brandon Marshall another headcase. NTY I'll pass.
