All I keep hearing is his intangibles his weight and speed nothing else. Atleast mcbath HAS made plays, yes it was one but it was a full on pick of peyton manning, he read the play and read peytons eyes and made the play.

I'm with crash on this one. Don't want to see Bruton start. I'm fine with him popping in and out every now and then and having him use these times on the field to prove he's worth the roster spot, but as it stands, I don't want much to do with him... he's done absolutely nothing with the time he's had on the field.
Maybe drafting a safety is a bit extreme. Hill probably has another facemask left in him

Bruton made a TON of plays at ND. Including 97 tackles,10 pass breakups, 4 picks,2 forced fumbles,2 fumble recoverys his senior year. His 2nd start as a bronco he had 5 solo tackles, a pass breakup, and he also blocked a punt against st louis to give us a chance to win. Bruton IS a playmaker when he gets a year to start u and every other doubter that didn't watch him at ND will realize thisLast edited by themadfanatic; 04-14-2011, 08:51 PM.

That's a playmaker, BRUTON ISN'T EVEN CLOSE!!! five tackles pleaseLast edited by themadfanatic; 04-14-2011, 09:13 PM.

Exactly ur a hater and u won't give him any credit. His college career is what should make him start. The fact we have aging safetys who should no longer start ahead of him, the fact that he HAS made plays when he played, the fact that he might be the best all around athlete in the nfl are all reasons he should start. His hard hitting, his ball skills, what more do u need?A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

College stats mean nothing? How ppl play in college is what determines whether and when they get drafted. We drafted him because of what we saw in him IN COLLEGE. He's only 2 years removed from the draft. We won't just forget what we saw in college(a playmaker) and the combine and give up on a guy after 2 years who has ALSO made plays in the nfl. If we didn't care about college ayers wouldn't still be starting. Fox has been quoted saying he likes what he saw from ayers IN COLLEGE and he's interested in seeing what he can do returning to the position he played IN COLLEGE. To say how u play in college means nothing two weeks from a draft makes u sound really stupid
