Darcel McBath is expected to get a real chance to start at free safety for the Broncos in 2011.The 48th overall pick in the 2009 draft, McBath would be more on the radar if he wasn't so injury prone. Quad and ankle problems limited him to six appearances last season. He's a candidate to replace declining Brian Dawkins, allowing incumbent free safety Renaldo Hill to move to strong safety. A lot of people know im in love with Quinton Carter from Oklahoma. I would love to draft Quinton Carter in the second round preferbly with the 46th Overall Pick and pair him with Mcbath as the startng safety group.

That seemed like a given. Hope he pans out.

I think he could be a solid, if unspectacular, starter. Assuming he stays healthy. You have to think he's learned a lot under Dawkins the last two years, hopefully he can prove to be a long term option at one of the safety spots. I honestly can't remember the last time we had a young (good) safety starting for us?

He was good at texas tech, I remember because I loved crabtree. But I want a faster FS like maxwell or PP or even culliver. And I definately don't want carter starting over bruton at SS

Carter is smaller and slower, therefor he is worse...at least according to some people

Nah carter might be better but I see the potentail in bruton and I wouldn't give up on him. His RIDICULOUS athletic ability(217lbs-4.32 40,42"vert,broad,cone,shuttle drills) alone shows he has crazy upside. and I've been a fan of his for awile, way before he tore up the combine and as most ppl know the thing I like most about him is how hard he hits and yes carter is a big hitter as well.
Y not give bruton a full year to start before u spend a high 2nd on a much slower undersized SS who may or may not pan out?

Sure, in the 6th round maybe. He would be a good late round pick, but I wouldn't expect him to start.

I honestly love the kid, Hard worker who has killer instincts and is a ballhawk. Bob Sanders was/is small....

He will be a steal in my opinion.

Definitely make or break one way or the other for McBath. Hill at SS, Uhm uhm, I question his toughness and or tackling.

Sadly my hopes are low, but I sure hope they find the fire inside, then I will shine a light for them..
I hate the Defenseless Receiver rule and the fines. Posted since '07. 2011 rule addition :nono: backhand a fool!

Sorry bro I really don't see bruton starting for the simple fact he sucks in coverage and can't tackle in the open field which is two things a safety has too do for fox because he likes to play his safeties back in coverage so they can have a play on the ball they won't be put up into the box too much
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

Can't tackle in the open field? Get over that one play. I've SEEN him tackle in the open field
