With all the lockout business looming over us fans' heads, the draft is just about the only thing we can talk about that is football related (that doesn't have to do with billionaires and millionaires fighting over money
).This thread will be used as an entry thread and for commentary regarding entries.
Mission:
Create the best NFL team you can, consisting of only rookies, while meeting player requirements, which will be put up against other posters' teams' in a poll, voted upon by your fellow Broncos' Country posters. The winner will recieve a few CPs from me, and I'm sure other posters will chip in as well.
Rules:
- on each side of the ball, you are limited to and must have--
2 first round picks
2 second round picks
2 third round picks
2 fourth round picks
2 fifth-sixthround picks
1 seventh to UDFA pick
YOU MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS. For example, you cannot have 3 second round players and only 1 first. Failure to meet these requirements will result in your entry not being counted, until revised.
- all offense and defense starters are required. Backups and special teams units are optional.
- your squad does not have to be entered in the contest.
- your player roster, when submitted, should look identical to this--
- when posting your team, you shall establish what style offense and defense you would run with this team. Your options-

How to List Your Players:
- use a standard form of a depth chart. The more specific you are, the better. (IE: OLB vs. SAM)
-Player Name, College (Round Picked in Draft)
or
Sam Bradford, OU, (1)
color coding is optional.
My entry will be posted as post #1, feel free to use it as an example.
All team entries are final on June 19th, 12 AM. Your team may be edited freely until then.
