While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

So, you are saying that he went to prison for doing absolutely nothing?
Burress shot himself with an unregistered gun. After going to court and getting released on jail a further search of his home turned up numerous other unlicenced firearms.
The guy clearly has a problem with guns and a history of domestic abuse he had a restraining order against him - not to mention the civil cases against him.
No team should touch him and he should not be allowed in the NFL - same goes for Vick. Every day that he is a member of a football team is a slap in the fact to the NFL.
I disagree with you. IMO he has served his sentence for his crime. Now he is out and any employer, even a team in the NFL, can hire him if they so choose. Who are you or I to cast such harsh judgments on people. He served time for his crime. Hopefully, he has learned his lesson well. I detested what Vick did and have the same assessment for him.

I am with you. Vick done his time and is now a free man in my eyes. Say with Plax. However Plax should have never been there to begin with IMO. However to my knowledge he didn't whinge or cry about it. Just took it. At least publicly. I could be wrong though.
Yeh Nnamdi is not happening. I don't think we need a cornerback. We are set there for at least two years. However Richard Marshall could be a huge possibility though.

For the amount of money Nhamdi is asking for we could get a whole DL and some more.I like him as a player,but he wont impact our team that much,i rather use the money to sign quality DL players.

I don't agree with you on this quote.If he served his time he should be allowed to play.You can't deny a person work just because they made a mistake,he should be allowed to play at least for another team other than the Giants.
As for Ray Lewis,he beat his case and is not at fault,so why should he not be givin the right to play.
He is asking for 16-18 million a season,thats a whole lot of cash.It explains why he is a free agent.If Al is crazy he will give Nhamdi 18 million after the lockout.
I don't think it is needed at all. Brit Davis, Mathew Willis, Eron Riley are all good developmental depth receivers. I haven't ever watched Riley play in terms of watch his offense operate but his size and speed are interesting. Willis and Davis have shown in the preseason they have a tone of potential and I honestly I would give all 3 roster spots over Plax. Along with the veterans of Gaffney and Lloyd and Eddie Royal we have a nice core. Also Decker IMO will start and light it up. He in limited snaps has looked really, really good.
Starters to start the season:
Lloyd, Decker and Gaffney
Willis, Davis as backups until Eddie Royal and DT come off of the PUP list.

Eron, Davis, Willis, Decker, Thomas. 5 Good young wide receivers who have upside. We are not winning now and don't need another veteran WR in the locker room. We have our veteran starting receivers in Lloyd and Gaffney. Our number 3 will be Decker and then Royal is in that mix when he gets back. That is 4 receivers in John Fox/Mike Mccoy non spread offense. We DON'T need Plax.

This is not College football, it is professional football, there is no such thing as a developmental program except if you are a QB. Plaxico still has about 3-4 years left in the tank, he can help the team get better, he is better than any reciever we have currently on the roster and that includes Brandon LLoyd. Also Thomas is out for the year with an archilies injury, no guarantees that he will fully recover from it. Royal just had hip surgery, our WR depth is deceptive. The Broncos should explore every opportunity to get better.
