Well none of them have ideal footwork

      I'd give a 5th for him.

I mean we are talking about a 6'5/240 guy who can run a 4.4 or less and still have a 38 vertical. No matter what way you look at the stats, that is very impressive. He has the elite measurable that you look for in receiver, and really with a 5th round pick, he has a higher upside than pretty much anyone else you'd find there.

        Agree with the latter statement.

Mike Williams is the only rookie receiver to make the NFL's top 100 player list, while Blount went over 1000 yards. If you're saying those individuals, with the good and bad, aren't worth a 3rd round pick and two VERY manageable contracts, than you aren't really into the whole winning thing

Yep. I find it quite laughable how much fans care about players character and some really minor things to them are called character concerns.

and yet one of our best players has multiple DUIs. and as far as Blount goes, I'd rather him punch a dude in practice than shoot somebody or run somebody over.

Even punching someone isn't that bad for it to be considered a huge character concern IMO. A lot of people have punched people in their life. He did a stupid thing. Not really a concern.

Plus as fans we are not in the locker room. We want to see talent and a team win. Talent does that IMO if combined with hard work.

SO true, I punched my teammate two years ago in the locker room for talking about me on the sidelines while I played. I'm still a good person, it's just that 90% of football players have it in them, whether it will ever show or not, to rage on somebody when tempers are flaring.

What does that have to do with my post? I was simply pointing out that Williams getting that DUI certainly showed why one would be concerned about him. Nice try at trying to stir up an argument that wasn't there though.

LOL. alright then, i guess i mistaked your comment about a DUI and a punch to be relevant to the conversation also.
