Nah. You can look for depth at OT without throwing a draft pick. The team will already give a 2012 pick to Cleveland to seal the Brady Quinn trade.
I know that Fox sees Franklin as the RT, but he might become the LG soon. And Beadles will play RT. If I remember correctly, Beadles played 3 seasons at LT for Utah. And he has 1 season of pro football under his belt. He is a technical, smart lineman. Franklin is more physical, aggressive, with that OG mentality.
Since Clady and Franklin are currently set as the OTs, with Beadles as a versatile piece, the team is not in emergency mode. We can even develop an undrafted free agent for depth. Davis Mims from Virginia Union, for example. 6'8 330 with freakish 36 7/8 inch arms.sigpic

Depending on playing time and it will be a late round pick regardless.

That would silly IMO. Beadles has struggled a lot at tackle and played really well at Guard. He was a huge reason why got some running success late in the season. Beadles is not a Tackle IMO.

He would be a decent pickup but he is not at the talent level of Adams but wouldn't require a draft pick. However I would rather bring in Tony Washington. Tony Washington deserves his shot.

Really. Man you must be a saint. There would not be a NFL if GM's built a team by this logic. If this is considered a character issue and a reason people do not want him on the team, then all I can say is wow. So wanting some money is not having a love for football. Was it a crime. No it broke a NCAA violation but he is hardly a criminal or bad character guy.
I mean, seriously, he sold his stuff for tattoos. I want to be spending my few draft choices on guys who take pride in their accomplishments and value football over things like tattoos.
I'm speaking in the point of view of a head coach, here, because at the end of the day, the head coach determines who makes the team, who starts, and effects the outcome of games a hell of a lot more than the GM.

Our run game was bad because they kept moving our linemen around and there was no real consistency with the line. When Beadles moved back to guard, the running game dramatically improved. Also Walton is going to be better this year, Centers always have it hard with their first year in the league. Biggest problem in terms of the rushing game was probably Ryan Harris who didn't play like himself, I'd account that to injuries though. Oh and our blocking scheme really didn't fit the talents of our defense.
I don't see the need to trade Kuper to a zone team, it has already been confirmed that we'll be using a lot of zone blocking this year. Having a talented player like Kuper who also has experience in the system is pretty valuable.

While I applaud the OP's willingness to take a flier on a player in the supplemental draft to stiffen arguably the most important unit in football, I cannot say I recommend it. The Chargers have managed to find MANY servicable backups (and starters) in UDFA, and I believe the Broncos can do the same. Remember you're not gearing up for a run this year, time is on your side. For that reason, I don't believe you should use a pick on that young man.
ESPECIALLY given the time the Bronco front office has had time to evaluate which people were not drafted and if they would be a fit for the team. Going to be the most interesting UDFA period in recent history when it happens.sigpic

I think you are very naive the way you think about football players and their love for the game. Everyone is tattooed in the NFL and so many people have other loves off the field they love more than football.
Yes he does make the decisions but he doesn't make the sole decision on who comes in here. Plus this sounds like something Josh Mcdaniels would say and believes. That worked for him didn't it. He built a awful football team thinking like this.
But, SoS is taking to an extreme, this guy has too much talent and could help our football team too much to simply say no to. At the very least you put a bid up for him. If you get him, great.Denver Broncos GM

Guys like Quinton Carter "I don't play video games". Guys who don't love the game, become the Chad OchoCincos and Albert Haynesworths of the league. Overpaid divas who expect everything to be given to them.
