I would LOVE to get a 2nd for him however I think whoever trades for him is going to view him a lot like we did as a stop gap. The guy has proven to be an adequate qb at game managing who won't make mistakes and with a good team around him can produce and be successful when ahead but not clutch and not good at leading a team back from behind.He will play to level of team. I hope 2 teams with coaches who need to win now and don't have time to develope their guy bid out for him and we get a 2nd but I personally believe a 2nd is too high for a stop gap that you bring in for a couple of years while searching for your answer long term. I think realistically we are probaly looking at atleast a 3rd and maybe a 4th.

I think any Orton trade will be a "conditional" 2012 pick. I'm thinking a 2nd if he plays a certain percentage of snaps for his new team, or a 3rd if he doesn't!

I really doubt we'll get a 2nd, but maybe if a team gets desperate because of the rush to get everything done.

Oh and as a side note, there will be alot of unhappy people around here when Kyle is still on this team. I'll be good either way but some take it to personal. I've been quit but it's time to release the beast.

I would keep Orton if all we are going to get back is a 4th. Sage Rosenfels, a 31 year old backup, went for a 4th and a 9M 2 yr extension.

If no team is willing to pony up a 2nd, hold him through the preseason and see if a QB goes down.

I think people will be nervous if he still on the team come Wednesday or Thursday.

Everybody that I've notice so far since the lockout ended it, believes he is gone today.
