He caught 96 passes for almost 100 yards and 9 TDs in four years at Auburn. An NFL FB's main job is to block; second is to receive; carrying the ball is distant third.
Fox has said the Broncos will have the most sophisticated rushing attack in the league. Maybe they'll run trap?
But yeah maybe they put him at fullback but I'm not sure if they do, I think they envision him as a running back with his athleticism. I guess I don't really have a clue though.

No but the argument that simply because teams didn't draft him that he won't do anything is simply lazy. I'm not saying he is going to be Arian Foster, but to think that he won't be able to do something for the Broncos just because teams didn't see anything special in him is just silly. The history of NFL is filled with tales of players who did great things even when they were drafted in very late rounds or not drafted at all. I'm sure any Denver Broncos fan should know that greatness can come from everywhere when you consider when two of our three top offensive skill players this organization has had were drafted in the 6th and 7th round, and the other one wasn't drafted at all.

You're right.

Thanks, Bro. I fixed it.
Fannin is big enough to play FB and is already a good blocker. He played FB at Auburn through the end of 2010.
He's a great receiver which is the primary threat of NFL FBs anymore unless more FB run plays return to the I formation. Trap anyone?

Barring any FA coming in, Moreno will be the starter, White may be out and/or not the same after surgery, Buck is already cut, and Ball who shows some potential but nothing really great. That leaves a lot of room for a rookie with his skill set to come in and contribute right away. Out of all the UDFA I would say he has the best chance to actually make the team. In all honesty, I would be ok going into the season with the RB roster we have...Moreno, White (if ok), Ball, and Fannin. Any upgrades in FA would just be a bonus.
The idea of Fannin playing FB is an interesting one and would be good to have it at FB and also as a #4 RB when needed. If he can be a good lead blocker, he could be a very good FB when you combine that with his speed and receiving skills.sigpic
