I like the idea of having two very good backs, but I agree with not liking having all that money tied up. And my biggest gripe is that we aren't hearing more about DT. We absolutely HAVE to have DTs. Get that done first. But I'll still welcome this if we have cap space.

Most teams have 2 quality backs now, just the way the game is. Green Bay: Grant/Starks, NYG: Jacobs/Bradshaw, Panthers have currently: Williams/Stewart.

You are telling me that just because Moreno is a capable starter, you wouldn't want to sign DeAngelo Williams to vastly upgrade the position?

Xanders has a lot to prove as a GM but one thing is for sure and it's that he knows how to work the $ figures.

If we can maneuver financially to get Williams and our prized DT, what is there to lose?

Knowshon Moreno can be a good running back in this league, but we have an opportunity to add the best in the league when healthy. One will have to be 100% or close to it any given week.
