Usually the insiders break the news on signings from team employees or agents, that's why I was kind of surprised by the tweet because the players never break news like this on their own.

A lot of the information coming out of Dove Valley is that they are on a budget. Mebane to me is not a budget addition. Hatcher and Landri are guys who we probably could afford, and guys we will probably end up getting.
