Interesting. Houston needs defense help, we need a DT. If they are interested, maybe send them Mario Haggan and a pick late round for Amobi Okoye.

Haggan straight up would do it. Hill and a late round pick would also work as they really need 2 safeties.

Okoye does have a 3MM cap number, so you have to figure that in with any trade offer.

Yeah Haggan straight up should do it, they run a 3-4 D, and they could use Haggan, whom was not bad in the 3-4.

We wanna win games and be a good team, his cap number wont take up to much to scare the cap room.

I would rather have him then mebane, cofield, cullen or albert he's consistant, he young,he's big,he's athletic,(4.85 40 at 300+) what's not to like about him.

He offers no pass rush and isnt exactly a run stuffer.

we have nothing to trade...sure we could trade Haggan, but we'd still have to give up a draft pick. (which we wont) Plus u think EFX could even bring this guy in??!! They cant even trade Orton for a 3rd round pick!!

Maybe the fact that he's consistently average or below average? I like him as a cheap project, but there is no chance he is even close to the player Mebane or Jenkins are. Mebane and Jenkins are legit stud DTs. Okoye has not proven that he deserves to be considered more than a training camp body at this point.

Jenkins had 18 tackles last year. Okoye had 44! U guys say ANYTHING. I've seen him stop the run and he gets a few sacks here and there as well(3 last year)

He been average to below average player his entire NFL career. While Mebane and Jenkins are legit stud DTs and are several tiers above Okoye. Please EFX and FO just sign one of those guys Jenkins or Mebane already and I'll be happy we have zero good DT on team.

Jenkins had 7 sacks at a much less productive position...

Edit: and that was only in 11 games.

I don't think Houston would take Hill or Haggan, those dudes obviously aren't huge difference makers, Okoye was a top 10 pick and is so young, they're not just gonna give up on him for some 30+ year old back up talent.

18 tackles! U guys are saying anything! Below average he's 24! Gettin 44 tackles and 3 sacks as a DT, that's legit! And he's never had a below average season and he's bigger and faster then cullen. U are sleeping on okoye BIG TIME. He also hasn't had major injury issues

he has toughness issues dude, i live in houston, and he got his 5 minutes a week on the radio show for being soft. it's a mental thing, though, he can turn it around
