Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I know we are pretty stacked at WR, but why not give the man a try considering Thomas out for a while? Mike Sims-Walker is a decent WR who could help out whoever is QB.
I know it is almost 100% not going to happen, but I like the idea.
The injury is the big concern here. Nobody knows what type of player he is any more. He's also older and comes with a price tag. He's a risky sign unless you do a one or two year "prove it" type deal with limited guarantees in the event the injury has him washed up.
He missed all of last season, and was released after the Patriots got a look at him, and obviously, Belichick thought they were better off without him...plus, he's always been a 3-4 DE

Patriots released DE Ty Warren.
Warren missed the entire 2010 season with a torn labrum in his hip. It's the kind of injury that can linger for more than a year, and in this case it likely has. Warren was due just $3.1 million and would have been a good bet to start at left end if healthy.
Maybe he failed the physical. The Patriots did not just release him to make someone else's DL better.
Recently released DE Ty Warren is reportedly interested in returning to Texas to play in Dallas or Houston.Warren starred collegiately at Texas A&M. He failed his conditioning test in New England, but insists his hip is no longer an issue. Warren was told the Patriots were "going in a different direction defensively," perhaps an indication that more 4-3 fronts will be used with Albert Haynesworth on board. Jul 29, 3:40 PMSource: Ft. Osi has been looking for a new contract and it seems like he ain't gonna get it with the giants. I think the broncos should pursue him for the right price. Your thoughts?
