  • Marcel Dareus

he has played two professional games at 6'3 343 he has had a sack in both those games, that is playing 3-4 DE which does not generate sacks. we had the chance to take the next ngata and we missed.

I'm glad we picked Miller. He looked more explosive and made a bigger impact during the game than Dareus did for Buffalo.

We got Miller, who might end up having a better career.

Miller looked explosive and exciting to watch vs the Bills. Watching him and Doom getting into the back field over and over was great.

We didn't miss Marcel, we passed on him, and for the better.

Maybe Bunkley turns out to be stud who just needed the right fit. He is only 27 and has a good 4 years in him.

we passed on him for better, he reminds me so much of the best DT in the nfl in Ngata, plus a sack a game so far is impressive. expecially if he keeps it up he will be known for having a suh like impact

I agree with the OP, assuming he can get his weight down to 335 and play at that weight on a regular basis. Him not only eating up blockers to free up the linebackers or even Safety's to get into the backfields, but he himself able to get back there as well is more valuable than having a pure pass rushing Linebacker.

I think he would of been our pick if we would of stayed as a 3-4 tbh. Upfront is what makes a 3-4 defense elite, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Buffalo having a better defense with him up front for years to come.

OK he had a sack against Chicagos O line which is absolutely terrible and Orton fell down and Dareus tagged him on the ground

You're acting like he is getting back to back sack games like it's the regular season.

He plays in the AFC east, chances are the only person he will be able to sack is Chad Henne.

Dareus will end the regular season with 8.5 sacks.

Miller will probably get 9-10.5, just because he is so quick off the gun and Doom will draw most of the OL attention.

While it would be nice to have a big guy like that in the middle im still fine with the Miller pick. He takes the pressure off of doom by providing another pass rush. Before Miller it seemed like the pass rush began and ended with doom but now we have two rushers that can get to the QB. He also helps take the pressure off the older slower DB's that we have. I dont think these are things that dareus would have been able to do for this team.

8.5 is a really good sack total for a 3-4 lineman... Like an elite number...

I haven't heard this one yet."If we had Dareus he wouldn't be a good fit because of the thin air in Denver".

                          It's good not elite.

8.5 is his max, he'll get at least 4-5.5.

Marcel is not Ngata, and wont be.

His best was actually 6 sacks not 5.5, also Dareus is a end not a tackle.

Haloti made most of his best plays within his 63 tackles, 43 of those was for a lost.

His 6.0 sacks is just 6 sacks.
