He is my guy and has been for a while now. I would love for him to be the future in Denver.
In my ideal world, we'd draft hm & he would backup TT. Sam Bradford came out of "that system" & he's played pretty well

      Lets start with RB.

I don't care what anyone says, Knowshon is awful in the role of a feature back. He is a 3rd down receiving option, and an average one at that. And we could've had Brian Orakpo (Thanks Mcd). So, as far as feature running backs go in this draft, Trent Richardson tops the list. Now depending on where were picking, I'm guessing anywhere from 5-12, Richardson might be considered a reach especially because of the devaluing of the position.

Some mid round talent might be worthy selections, I really like Bernard Pierce from Temple in the 2nd-3rd round range.

Our Oline could be looked at in this upcoming draft. Clady is set in stone, but the rest of the line could be shaken up depending how they perform the rest of the way. Beadles I think has potential, but he's still showing some inexperience out there. He could be moved back to RT, I would prefer to keep him at guard but switching with Franklin isn't out of the question. Center might be a position that could be upgraded if Walton doesn't continue to improve.

Possibilities include Michael Brewster who is getting the most hype and attention as a late first round possibility.

My gut says we don't dip into the Oline until the late rounds and take an athletic center who could back up Walton or swing out as a backup guard. I also think our Line stays the same and hopefully continues building continuity.

I think our receivers look okay and I doubt we draft talent in this area, especially with D Thomas coming back healthy (hopefully).

      Defense.

      DT DT DT.

      Yes. Yes. Yes.

HHHHHOoookay. We need big time help up front. Bunkely actually looks solid, but counting on our current roster of DT's to be effective for a whole year is wishful thinking.

Jerel Worthy seems to be getting alot of hype as the best DT this year, but i'm a big fan of Brandon Thompson from Clemson as an early 2nd round option.

      DE.

Don't be surprised if we go this way with our first selection. Ayers isn't doing much and if Dumervil can't stay healthy this is actually one of our bigger needs.

Quinton Coples will draw the obvious Julius Peppers comparison, and I could see John Fox going this direction if he sees the same type of player. Honestly, could you imagine having Coples and a healthy Dumervil lined up with Miller coming on blitzes? If we're picking high next year and don't take a QB, look for Coples to draw serious consideration.

LB- I don't see much here that could be a substantial upgrade over what we already have.

CB- Lots of talent here and we need to go back to the youth well here. Bailey and Goodman are aging, still effective but having young corners who can develop always helps.

I like Stephon Gilmore as a potential pick.

      S- See LB explanation.

So to sum up, we will likely look heavily at defense with more of an emphasis on the front four next draft. Don't be surprised if Coples is our 1st round choice depending on where we are picking.

Lots of talent at areas of needs like RB, DT, and CB in rounds 2-3. Might look at Oline but it depends on the growth of our young guys.

If I had to do a quick mock top three picks, it would go

      Coples, DE
      Thompson, DT
      Pierce, RB

      * I am assuming we don't look at QB's, although my gut tells me we will.
For QB, I'd like to get Landry Jones
For RB, if we can't get Trent Richardson, I'd like to get Chris Rainey.
For DT, I like Mike Martin from MICH. We need multiple DTs, but I think he could be a steal. We also need DE, OL, FB & Secondary. Whoever we draft to fill these holes is fine with me

Like the thought of getting Martin in the later rounds. He won't wow you with his physical abillities, but you probably won't find a harder worker in a DT.

one of the DT stuck out during the notre dame game can't remember who

right now i think our best optionwould be trading down into the 12-15 or so range getting RG3 hen DT CB De and getting depth beyond that.

If the Broncos draft anyone from Wisconsin, I'd love for them to get Peter Konz as a C or OG. The coaches say he may be one of the best offensive linemen they've ever had. He'd solidify one of the 3 interior spots for them.It would also make this kid happy if they drafted QB Russel Wilson. He's a very mature QB with a big arm for a smaller QB. Reminds me a bit of Jake Plummer.

The Broncos seem OK at the tackle position, but the interior definetely needs an upgrade.

                    just my two cents
LandrY Jones played against the #5 team on the road. FSU was also looking to avenge a 47-17 butt kicking from last year. No it wasn't his best game but they still won. A good QB wins even on bad days. Don't forget that Landry has broken or is on pace to break all of Bradford's records. People seem pretty high on Bradford, so what does that say about Jones? AND Jones beat Luck in the sun bowl.

In my ideal world Luck falls to 20 where we pick because we made the playoffs and we trade Tebow for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

Ha! It would be an absolute mad world if Luck fell to even 5 this year.

It will be complete luck if he falls to #3 overall.

I can understand #2 overall if Carolina get the #1 overall but any further than that would suprise me.

Yeh but Manny Ramirez was good in his previous situation. I liked him going into camp and according to Mark Schlereth he was great in one on one situations and is a good player. I think he was just surrounded by bad players so it made him bad. I like him as a swing backup for C and G. Chris Clark and Tony Hills at T seems alright.

Our backups got both BQ & TT killed in the PS
