Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Or, Bill Polian gets the next Manning/Elway prospect and the Colts are dominant again for another decade?

A super bowl victory is the only thing that matters in a season. So to show improvement you have to get closer than we were last year. So the AFCC game is a good answer if we only match what we did last year it is a failure. The Giants were 9-7 and won it all so record or first round bye mean nothing unless you win it all-

What is it with these "Lets trade Tebow and blah blah blah up to get Luck".
Plain and simple...if the Colts have the #1 pick they're taking Luck. You really think Manning is playing another 10 years? No way, it's time to draft his replacement.
Even if Peyton misses the whole season, which at this point it looks like he will - they will not be bad enough to get Luck. San Fran, Carolina, Seattle, Bungals. Will all be worse
They're not getting Luck, they will not that bad of a record to get him.
IMHO, even with Collins starter for the entire season, they could win 5-7 games, which would take them out of Luck race.
If they draft a QB in the first it will probably be someone from a top school, that has always had overrated offensive players......USC*cough cough*.
A situation like this, just prove why Bill Belichick is the best coach in the NFL.
He was smart enough, unlike the Colts. To draft a QB, a good QB in that.
Ryan Mallet learning under Brady, and if Brady was to have the same issue as Manning, guess what? The Pats would still make the playoffs.
Yahoo reports that Manning will be out for 2-3 months.
the colts are gonna want a veteran qb...not a work in progress..they are, and should be, in "win now" mode

If Brady Quinn hadn't made a fool of himself in the last preseason game he'd already be the Colts QB of the future....I wouldn't be suprised if they inquire about Orton, doesn't matter though, this close to the start of the season they would have to offer half their team for the FO to want to trade him....We aren't the Jaguars changing QB less than a week from the seasons start.
