Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

If he plays at a high level against the tougher competition on his schedule and wins and also performs well in a bowl game and wins that and then has impressive pre draft workouts all of which I think he can do I wouldnt be surprised if he went top 10 or the second QB taken. Thats if he comes out early. He already has his degree and they say you should strike while the iron is hot so I definitely see him declaring for the draft this year.
But he has no chance of being drafted by us. Not unless John Fox is fired
I think elway might push for it. Didn't the broncos schedule a workout for cam Newton last draft? I dont think John fox would be opposed to RG3 and I think he could be the drop back pocket passer. The guy is very accurate.
If we don't get Jones or RG3, then I'd like to get Boyd NEXT YEAR. He looks pretty good at Clemson. He shows all the tools
there at least four in this draft that could fit the mold

RG3 just happens to be my favorite think he is the fastest QB in this draft with the arm strength tools wise i feel as though RG# and that 4.3 speed with an arm and he has been developed well as a passer has the arm strength. and dumped his run first mean he has been passing mainly and show casing his arm strength. he may be a bit slower now i heard builked up to 223 at 6'2 thats ideal size. right now my QB ratings look like
Elways has described what he wants in a QB various times. It's clear he wants the Luck/Barkley/Jones mold.
If we intend to keep John Fox on long term. Then a QB like RG3 is not in our future. He is my favorite player in college, and has been for awhile. I expect him to do GREAT things in the NFL. But it won't be here guys.

Tebow and Orton won't be back next year, Quinn only will if he accepts the role of a back up/ short term starter.

I don't think Barkley's going to declare. I'd consider him if he did though. I think he's going to wait another year so he can be the no.1 guy.
I'm concerned with Jones. He can be turnover prone and he struggles on the road. If he struggles on the road in college, I can't help but imagine what it would be like for him to play road trips in Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
At the end of the day, I definitely want us to wait on picking a new QB until we see what we have with Tebow. The only QB (assuming Barkley stays back) that'd I'd be feeling really comfortable with is Luck because he's going to be a star in this league. I don't want us to not give Tebow a chance unless we know we're getting a top notch QB.
Barkley is horrible. What the hell do people see in him, that you didn't see in other USC QB's? He won't be any better than Sanchez. I'll cry if the Broncos take Barkley. It has to be either Luck or Jones. If not, play Tebow and see what he has.

If the Jets drafted Freeman over Sanchez, I'm convinced they would have been in the Super Bowl rather than the AFCCG.
