I would disagree. We were very open about drafting need based last draft. Must get 4 starters etc... That's need drafting.

I'm not sure we can say for sure what our philosophy is as of yet since we had so much rebuilding to do, but based on last year, it's need oriented. We want plug and play starters early and key depth late, at positions of need.

1st Round, roughly 20-25 range, if he comes out.

I don't think we need to draft a corner, must less two, but I prefer Haywood to Gilmore -- better coverage and ball skills. Haywood would be a good pick. I like Polk, but agree with another poster that he probably will not last to the 4th round. I really like the Weeden pick. He is mature, strong-armed and accurate. If he weren't "old" (which is actually a plus) and if he played for a team that gets better publicity, he would be ranked with the first-rounders. As it is, he is a steal in the 5th round.

Again with the trade downs. I would like to stay put. I'd prefer quality over quantity. Everybody said we would trade down next year but we didn't . Same will happen this year.

Have you seem our corners besides Champ play. They are horrible and can't tackle.

I like it. At least there are no trade downs like every other mock on this board. Those mocks are just confusing and are not likely to happen.

It's an UDFA so would that really matter. Drew Brees 6-0 210 and he is a SB MVP.

                      Oh look another Mock.

Everybody knows I'm a beginner at this mock stuff, but these are the players I'd like to see taken and at these spots.

                      1. Dre Kirkpatrick corner out of Alabama. Guy look good, and as we see our secondary is looking more weak than the DL. Andre Goodman isn't getting younger, plus he isn't really number 2 CB good anymore.

2a. Alameda Ta'amu DT out of Washington. Guy is big, good run stopper,6-3 337 pounds, 5.22 40.

2b. Taking Dre Kirkpatrick would mean passing up on Trent Richardson, so with our 2nd 2nd round pick. Denver picks LaMichael James RB out of Oregon. Fast guy, we've all seen him play. If he drops to our 2nd 2nd pick, gotta take him. 5'9 195, 4.22 40 time.

                      3. Mike Martin DT out of Michigan. Another good run stopper, whom a good number of people in the college world is high on. Ranked in the top 10 for best DL in the draft. 6'1 304, 4.98 40 time.

4a. Case Keenum QB out of Huston. 6'2 210 lbs. With both Orton and Quinn looking to be off during the offseason, Denver will need another QB. I really like Case, and think him Tebow and Adam would be a nice QB competition.

4b. With Brandon Lloyd being traded, Eddie Royal possibly not returning, and D.T being made of glass. Drafting a WR will be a need. B.J Cunningham WR out of Michigan State, 6'2 215lbs 4.59 40 time.

5a. David Molk C out of Michigan. Molk is rated as the 4th best center in the draft, if Tebow starts next season, Molk has experience with QB's like Tebow at the helm. If Walton continues poor play, Molk could step in, and do well. 6'2 288 lbs, 5.18 40 time.

5b. Mike Adams OT out of Ohio St. 6'6 320 lbs, 5.09 40 time. Our OL has little to no depth. We noticed that during preseason when Quinn and Tebow was getting nailed because of the poor players at 2nd string.

                      Thoughts?
Note* players with photos are guys I want on the team and are my favorite players coming out.

Mike Adams doesn't get his name bolded, he plays for OSU.

Loooooooooove it!!! If this were to happen I'd be the happiest man on earth!

You have most every player I like, and we cover our top 3 needs with our first 3 picks, while still getting value. I know there are a lot of people who don't like LaMichael James but he is one of my favorite players this draft. To me he is the most spectacular player in the country. He is the only person that when I turn on the game I am sure to say WOW! He doesn't shy away from contact like other speed backs who have failed in the NFL. I really believe he has CJ2K potential. Love all the picks but that one in particular. For me I'd be fine with Kirkpatrick-James or Richardson-Jenkins.

Dre Kirkpatrick IMO is overrated and I do not want him especially in the 6-10 range which is where we will probably pick and if not where Kirkpatrick will be picked.

We only have 1 2nd rounder but I would like to trade down or something to get an extra. Almeda is a monster. Huge body. Is he a little overrated. I think so but he is a good fit for a run clogging guy for us in the middle.

Lamichael James I would rather address the running back position with a guy like Chris Rainey or Jeffery Demps. Preferably Rainey but they are explosive extremely fast players who do a lot of similar things but for less of a pick.

Mike Martin I haven't watched so I have no comment.

I am usually not one to squabble over size but a center who is less than 290 pounds is a scary idea. However I haven't watched him so not know what he is like.

At receiver I would love Wright from Baylor. Let Royal walk and replace him with a better player but it would have to be in the 3rd but I think a receiver in this spot would be good.

Case Keenum is a very nice player. I like both him and Chandler Harnish as a 4-5th round Quarterbacks. I would prefer Harnish though.

Mike Adams from OSU is a beast and will probably be a first round pick. However if he falls from the first it is due to his suspension and nothing more and will fall no later than early 3rd round.

I go to UH. I witnessed Case Keenum set 2 all time NCAA records in two straight weeks (Total Yards and TD Passes)

                              This draft would suck.

I like Richardson but he's not an elite AP like talent and there are good running backs all through the draft. If you draft a back with pick 8-10 he better be incredible and I don't think Richardson is.

Tannehill is a very limited QB IMO, reminds me of Colt McCoy.

I don't know much about Reyes, I don't mind the pick but would rather get a DT in the second.

                                Would hate this draft.

As good as Richardson is, i don't see him as a AP-type RB.

If we're going QB, i'd rather have Foles, but we need a CB more then a QB anyway.

Wouldn't mind this pick, need a young DT we can develop.
