Broncos Midseason Mock 2012
We trade back picking up an extra 2nd, and lloyd gets his 30 catches
Round 1- Nick Foles, QB, Arizona 6'5 240
Big, accurate QB who i firmly believe has all the tools to be successful as an NFL quarterback. Some will say this is a reach, i say QB's rise on draft day. (Christian Ponder)
Round 2(a)- Fletcher Cox, DT, Miss St. 6'4 295
The highest rated DT on my board, He has the size/speed/strength combo to be an ultra successful UT. He showcases a very strong bull rush, good swim moves, and even a few spins. Could possibly run in the 4.8's. Watch his game against Kentucky if you haven't seen him play, you will be a believer.
Round 2(b)- Xavier Rhodes, CB, Fla St. 6'2 215
Great size and length for a CB. Does well in the run game and has the speed (low 4.4) to stay with any reciever. A well rounded young corner with lockdown potential.
Round 3- William Vlachos, C, Bama 6'1 294
Key cog on one of footballs best offensive lines, can instantly replace Walton in the starting lineup.
Round 4- Julian Miller, DE, WVU 6'3 268
Bulked up to play DT this year, he can either be used as run stuffing DE or can lose some weight and be a pass rush specialist. I personally would have him drop to about 260 and be a pass rusher because i believe Fletcher Cox can also play strongside DE in sure running situations
Round 5(a)- Jaymes Brooks, OG, VT 6'2 308
Depth for our woeful offensive line
Round 5(b)- Brandon Bolden, RB, Ole Miss 5'11 221
Broke his ankle early in the year and fell down draft boards, but hes healthy now and dropped 115 yards on auburn off of 14 carries. I personally feel as if he can be an every down back because he has great size, and runs fast enough to do well being more than just a bruiser.
Flame away2012 Mock- Stickin W/ Tebow

2- Chase Minnifield, CB, UVA
2- Juron Criner, WR, Arizona(acquired in trade down)
3- Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati
4- Julian Miller, DE, WVU
5- Vick Ballard, RB, Miss. St.

I personally like Foles a lot but as it stands right now a little bit of a reach IMO

Not my favorite choice for A DT but I like you dradting a D-line high
Round 2(b)- Xavier Rhodes, CB, Fla St. 6'2 215

Round 3- William Vlachos, C, Bama 6'1 294

I think a solid RT is more of a need but I'll take any linemen given
Round 4- Julian Miller, DE, WVU 6'3 268

Not a dire need but again I'd draft othing but O and D line this draft...lol just me
Round 5(a)- Jaymes Brooks, OG, VT 6'2 308
Depth for our woeful offensive line
I'm still looking for a RT but hey O-line is O-line
Round 5(b)- Brandon Bolden, RB, Ole Miss 5'11 221
Broke his ankle early in the year and fell down draft boards, but hes healthy now and dropped 115 yards on auburn off of 14 carries. I personally feel as if he can be an every down back because he has great size, and runs fast enough to do well being more than just a bruiser. Is he a power runner or a speed back....havent seen him play....I want a power back ala a brandon jacobs

1. Nate Potter, LT (I think you have him undervalued in your mock)
2. Shae McClellan DE\OLB- He's my sleeper pick, but had a coming out party against Goergia's LT (whom you have going in the first round) with 2.5 sacks and a bunch of tackles. He might not be much of a sleeper anymore by the time February comes around.
3. Doug Martin- Very similar to Ray Rice.
4. Billy Winn DT- projects well to 3-tech at the next level
5. Kellen Moore
6. George Iloka SS
One other that may or may not get drafted, but I think will utlimately land on an NFL roster as a 4-3 NT is Chase Baker.sigpic

New walterfootball mock draft....kinda
Still has the same 2 players from last time for the Broncos.
1. Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
John Fox loves utilizing multiple running backs. Knowshon Moreno can't stay healthy and isn't very good anyway. The Broncos don't have much invested in him (he makes $855,000 next year), so money is definitely not an issue, especially in the new rookie salary structure.
Remember, Fox openly wanted to sign DeAngelo Williams last month. If he was willing to spend tons of money on an aging, injury-prone runner, then he'll definitely consider a better option at No. 9 overall.
2. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
John Elway and John Fox seem to hate Tim Tebow's guts. Even if Tebow flops - and they certainly are doing whatever it takes to make sure that happens in attempt to sway public opinion - I don't think they'll select a signal-caller in Round 1, but picking one here is certainly possible.
3. Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
Denver's current defensive tackles can't get any sort of pressure on the quarterback. They'll be looking for an interior pass-rushing presence next offseason.

He has Nick Foles going at the end of round 3 to the Packers

Two things. One, yes they aren't getting to the QB, but Bunkley's stopping the run well. Maybe we could get another one apart from him, but we're ok there. Second, Foles to the Packers? I guesd he doesn't think Flyn's gonn stay, but Foles could start for someone. Rodgers is gonna be there for a while, so that won't happen.sigpic

Based on the past couple of weeks and the upcoming schedule I feel we might finish worst than the rams redskins Seahawks and cardinals. With that said we might be picking top 5. Also I cant see denver taking Richardson with all of the top corners still on the board. CB is a much much bigger need than RB unless they signed a top free agent at corner. Also I like tannehil in the second. He is the third guy that fits elways description of a franchise QB after luck and RG3. And I don't know much about the third pick.
