Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

At least he's finally got Fletcher Cox in his first 3 rounds...
Cox is a late first or early 2nd round guy....this year. If he stays in school, which he likely will, he'll be an early 1st round guy next year. I just want to see him run a 40 time. He's been rumored to be able to hit within the 4.5 - 4.6 area at 295 lbs.

I love him he's my favorite DT in the class, i really hope he comes out this year. and ive seen projections in the 4.8's, which is still pretty darn fast, but if he gets in the 4.6's thats just amazing... But he does play with an amazing amount of speed and quickness, so it wouldn't be that surprising.
Key Losses:
Eddie Royal
Brian Dawkins
Brady Quinn
Kyle Orton
Mario Haggan
Resign:
Brodrick Bunkley
Marcus Thomas
Jason Hunter
Joe Mays
Sign:
Jason Campbell, QB, Oakland.
Tracy Porter, CB, NO
Kareem McKenzie, OT, NYG
Overview:
We lose a few key players, but each loss is another spot open for a rebuilding team. We resign a few key defensive players, and go out and spend money difference makes. Jason Campbell could be a tremendous stop-gap quarterback, or potentially hold the reigns for a few years. We then go and spend good money on a high profile corner, in Tracy Porter, a ball hawking corner that was coached up in New Orleans by Dennis Allen. This would add experience and talent to our secondary, which apparently is needed.
Key Moves:
Cut Ty Warren. I was happy about the sign, but he's a waste of money.
Attempt to change Tebow into an H-back. If he put half the work into running routes, catching, and blocking that he did with trying to become a quarterback, Tebow could be, and would be, a special player.
THE DRAFT:
1st Round: Robert Griffin III
We get our franchise quarterback in Griffin III. I believe that our of every quarterback in the draft, he resembles Elway most. With a new OC, and a front office that's behind him, Griffin III could be an absolute stud in the NFL for years.
2nd Round: Jayron Hosely
Cornerback that would probably be third in line after Champ and Porter, and Jayron could hold down the outside, allowing Champ to kick in to the nickel with Jayron and Porter on the edges.
3rd Round: Ty Hilton, WR, Florida International
One thing our offense has lacked: Explosiveness. Ty Hilton is one of the most explosive PLAYERS in the draft, and he would be a deep threat for Griffin III.
4th Round: Fletcher Cox, DT, MSU
We add a DT that could rotate in, and perhaps groom to be a fine defensive lineman, something that we haven't done in years.
5th Round: Kendall Reyes, DT, UConn
Double dip on the developmental DTs, and have them sit behind Bunkley/Thomas/McBean and play sparingly.
7th Round: Jeff Demps, RB/KR, Florida
Explosiveness. Check. Demps is the fastest player in the country, and has clocked in at sub 10 seconds in the 100M dash (that's right, 9.9x). Demps would be an explosive third down back, and would compete with Moreno for time.
Overview:
Like in the 2011 draft, look for our 2012 draft to include explosiveness and playmakers. On offense, Griffin III, Hilton, and Demps could all become key contributors early, and if we use Tebow as an H-back, we'd have a list of weapons that includes: DT, Decker, Hilton at WR, Fells, JT and Virgil Green at TE, Tebow at H-Back, and McGahee, Moreno, and Demps at running back.
Our Defense would add talent to the back end while providing help up front. If we can manage to add 2 solid corners (starting quality) like we did in this mock, we wouldn't see 40+ points on our opponents end of the scoreboard nearly as often, especially if Moore and Carter step up.
Moving Forward:
Griffin III can sit and learn behind Campbell, another mobile quarterback who like to throw the ball downfield. He could learn a thing or two, and take over eventually.
I want to outright judge Fox so badly right now, but that would be unfair. If he doesn't pull it together next season, I would look no nab Kyle Shanahan away from Washington. He would implement the "Elway Style" offense, similar to Houston's, and it would suit Griffin III's ability perfectly and could possibly make our offense a top one in the league.
I figured their stock was rising. Back when I recorded the prospect rankings I had Cox as 6--7 and Ru
Reyes at 4-5
Well that is kind of my own rating, i make my own big boards and what not. But i do believe they are rising into at least the third on most draft sites.

Same here, i dont publish my rankings but i keep them recorded for reference. Third round seems pretty accurate for both, to be honest both of their names are too far out there to go that late.
The Broncos are going to have to pay some people this offseason. We will have to spend up to 90% of the CAP. I think this will result in more extensions for Broncos players considering we are nearly 20 million under the cap.
Free Agency
DT Brodrick Bunkley 5 year 25-30 million 10-15 million guranteed
Bunkley has been a stud, best offseason transaction the Broncos have had in a long time.
CB Tracy Porter 5 year 20 million 7 million guranteed
Porter hasn't had a great year so far, he has also had some injury problems. I think he follows Dennis Allen to Denver to replace Andre Goodman.
DT Marcus Thomas 4 year 10 million
LB Wesley Woodyard 4 year 10 million
MLB Joe Mays 2 year 5 million
TE Daniell Fells 4 years 8 million
S Brodney Pool 2 years 3 million
Going to post how I think teams finish. So don't crucify too much on the draft order.
Indinapolis Colts trade there pick with Miami (#4) and a bounty of other picks.
1. Miami Dolphins: QB Andrew Luck Stanford
2. St Louis Rams: LT Matt Kalil USC
3. Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Justin Blackmon OKST
4. Indy Colts: OT Jonathon Martin Stanford
5. Seatle Seahawks: QB Matt Barkley USC
6. Arizona Cardinals: WR Alshon Jeffrey SCAR
7. Cleveland Browns: DE Quinton Coples UNC
8. Carolina Panthers: CB Dre Kirkpatrick Bama 9. Denver Broncos: RT Riley Reiff Iowa
Reiff is a classic Iowa prospect. NFL ready. Good athlete. Light on his feet. Strong at the point of attack. Somebody to protect Tebow's blindside. This allows Franklin to move inside to left guard improving two positions.
10. Washington Redskins: QB Landry Jones OU
11. Tennessee Titans: LB Vontaze Burflict ASU
12. Minny Vikings: CB Morris Claiborne
13. Cinci Bengals (from Raiders): RB Trent Richardson Bama
14. Dallas Cowboys: C Peter Konz Wisconsin
15. Buffalo Bills: CB Janoris Jenkins North Alabama
16. Kansas City Chiefs: NT Alameda Ta'amu Washington
17. Tampa Bay Bucs: WR Michael Floyd Notre Dame
18. Cinci Bengals: OG David DeCastro Stanford
19. New York Giants: LB Luke Kueckly Boston College

26. New Orleans Saints: DT Jerel Worthy MSU
27. San Deigo Chargers: ILB Donta Hightower
28. Detroit Lions: CB Chase Minnifield Minnesota
29. New England Patriots: DE Melvin Ingram SCAR
30. San Fran 49ers: DE/LB Brandon Jenkins FSU
31. Pitsburgh Steelers: DT Dontari Poe Memphis
32. Green Bay Packers: RB Lamar Miller Miami
2nd Round: DT Kendall Reyes UConn
I have Devon Still and Billy Winn going before this pick. Reyes is a penetrating 6'4 300 pound undertackle. He currently has 4.5 sacks on the season. He has a nonstop motor and is fighting till the end of each play. He can be out of position at times. He usually gives up no ground when run at. He has been controlled in the past. He is pretty athletic, will run in the 4.9s, but he is raw. Definitely needs some work, but he would provide a pass rush in the interior which we lack.
3rd Round: WR Jarius Wright Arkansas
Wright is electrifying. He is about 5'10 and about 180 pounds. He runs a low 4.3, this kid will be rising up draft boards if he can have some more quality games. He is average over 16 yards a reception and has 9 touchdowns on the season. He is a great route runner. Very fluid.
And there you have it. Upgrades at RT, LG, CB #2, UT, and depth at positions of need.

I think denver will make a harder pursuit for luck than miami would. Miami will settle for the next guy available. Only elway and harbuagh have some connection to luck and would be the only teams I see making a play for him. I also think Denver will try to use tebow as a piece to that trade.
