Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Not so sure about the 2nd and 3rd round picks. If Crick drops I like him a lot. Can play the 3 and has scheme diversity. Plays with good technique and has a burst. Although not great, he is pretty darn good.
Porter would be an ideal, and realistic signing, I can't stress enough how bad Goodman is. Reiff wouldn't be my ideal pick, but I like it, nonetheless. It's time the Broncos truly commit to Tim Tebow, and protecting his blindside is important in this cause.
No complaints about Jarius Wright, the Packers and Patriots have proven spread type offenses with too many weapons to count are very successful.
My only thought is that Kendall Reyes likely would not have as large of an impact on the team as Lamar Miller (or Chris Polk if Miller is gone) or Travis Lewis would.
I would be content with this offseason, to say the least.

Lewis wouldn't start for us. Miller is gone at 32. And Chris Polk was in heavy consideration for our pick in the second round actually. I ultimately decided on Reyes because of his ability to bring an interior pass rush and the lack of free agents who can pass rush. I also like Lance Ball and Mario Fannin's potential. But I really did struggle with picking Reyes over Polk.

At pick 9 we won't have the ammo to trade up IMO. Miami will have a new FO anything could happen.
if thats the draft board miami will sit where they are and have Barkley and Jones to pick from. They have many needs and no mancrush. Compared to the niners pick 9(and then some) is plenty ammo if that is where denver picks.

We'll have the ammo, at what cost is the question. There are 2 Front Offices that I can see Miami targeting for a GM. That's Baltimore and Green Bay. If it's Green Bay, I can see QB Matt Flynn being signed by Miami because of the connection. So that would leave more hope for us getting Luck.

If Green Bay is smart, which they are, they will sign and trade Flynn. And being that close to getting Luck I think Miami with its celebrity owners try to get the big media name Andrew Luck.

I seriously doubt that GB will sign and trade Flynn. They are prepared to let him walk. Let me tell you one thing about MIA, they don't give a flying flip about a "Big Name" they still don't show up to the games. As many big names as the heat have, the fans still won't pack the house. The only team in MIA that those fans really care for is the Hurricanes. They U run that city.

The fans may not, but the owner definitely does. Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Karlos Dansby, and Jason Taylor. They like big names. That's why they went after Harbaugh as hard as they did.

What i'm saying is a big name doesn't make the fans come out and support the team. I'm not saying that you're right or wrong, all i'm saying is if they sign a FO personel from GB to be their next GM, I wouldn't be surprised if they sign Matt Flynn as the Franchise QB.

I wouldn't either.

If they stick with Tebow and don't want a QB in the draft I think OT and CB are probably at the top of the list for the options. I like Coples but his stock is falling and I don't know if he will be worth a high pick. A lot of football left to play though to see where they land in the pecking order. Personally, I think CB is the top option, if no QB is taken.
Like that the secondary is addressed somehow, but I think corner NEEDS to be addressed in the draft. I'd go with Claiborne/Kirkpatrick and Levy Adcock in the second

I like Chris Harris's potential, and we will have Squid back next year. I have us signing a quality number 2 corner. Champ has plenty in the tank. And if I had done a 4th round I would have drafted a corner.
I personally dont like Adcock. At this point I would put him as a guy who either needs to move to guard or sit and develop to play tackle.

After this game, I really believe that OL depth as well as secondary depth is a need BADLY. Clady and Franklin have a tendency to hold and that needs to stop. A #1 WR may be required as well. DT was nowhere to be seen yesterday.
