I'm still failing to see where all the hype about Barkley is being generated from. I've seen him play multiple times and nothing about him shouts Top 10 Draft Pick to me.

I'm actually pretty impressed by Barkley. I think he can be a healthy Matt Stafford or Denver Jay Cutler. Can make every throw, makes good enough decisions, steps up into the face of adversity. I like what I see out of him.

The windows aren't tight though... he is throwing to open receivers. I can do that. Since Jim Harbaugh and the USC scandal. Luck has two 1st round locks for offensive lineman this year in Jonathon Martin and David DeCastro. His wide receivers are always open. Colby Fleener is amazing as a tight end. They have a power running game. Luck has been sacked only 4 times this year. They have a strong defense. Yes he is making NFL throws. Yes he is reading a defense. Yes he is completing passes. But when has reading a defense and throwing a good play action pass made a guy a number 1 pick?

He has to lead his team to a win tonight. He has to. And as I write this he throws a pick six on third down. He should have never thrown that pass. Being a great quarterback is more than being 6'4 230 and being able to make every throw. It's about leading your team, gifting up after a big hit, bringing your players up another level. It's about championships.

Can you admit it was a bad pass? And I doubt USC has much recruiting power right now at least not as much as before

You CANNOT throw into the windows Luck has thrown into. Are you JOKING? Wide receivers always open? No, they look open because the kid knows EXACTLY where to go with the ball. You are TERRIBLE at evaluating QB's. They have a power running game because everyone knows Stanfords biggest threat is Luck. Those recievers and TE's look good because the kid is so nice. Someone as quick at reacting and mobile as Luck is going to make his O-line look much better than they are.
