That is an awful gamble for a team that needs a whole lot than just a qb.

I don't think RG3 will declare he seems very happy at Baylor and very dedicated. However if he does we need him

A) His current stock is not high enough for the top 10 pick that Denver will have.
B) We've already learned that Denver does not care much about DTs.
BUT...
I believe Worthy will see his stock rise. I've seen some videos and the guy is quick with very good size. Good mobility. The OL has to pay extra attention to him. Worthy definetely has pass rushing ability, I've seen him disrupt the pocket several times.
If Worthy decides to declare, I can see him becoming the #1 DT for 4-3 teams and a top 10 pick. He would be an interesting choice IMO. Plug him inside the DL with Dumervil, Ayers and Miller coming from the edge.
Some of his pass rushing moves reminded me of Marcell Dareus. Worthy does not have a NT body type, but he is not small. 6'2/6'3 310. Worthy and Bunkley starting for the Broncos, I would not be against it. Yeah, sometimes he stays blocked at the line and disappears, but the same thing happened to Dareus occasionally. It's a common theme among DTs.
If Elway somehow decides that QB will not be the pick in the 1st round, I expect the Broncos to target a CB. But I'm not impressed with the 1st round CBs, including Kirkpatrick. I think you can find a CB later. The DT class is not looking good, the group might get thin in the blink of an eye.
DTs usually rise right before the draft. Corey Liuget is an example, he came out of nowhere and jumped to the middle of the 1st round. Dan Williams. Worthy won't be a top 5 pick like Dareus but I think top 10 is a possibility if you consider the value of disruptive DTs.
From what I've seen, Worthy has the ability you're looking for in a 4-3 DT. He still has a lot of room for improvement. I would like to see this guy learn some things from Fox and coach Nunnely, who apparently helped Ryan McBean develop skills to attack the backfield.
Am I crazy?

As for selling the farm for Luck, I hate that idea. Our Denver Broncos suck, all around, not just at the QB spot. EFX has been adamant about building through the draft and giving everything away to get 1 guy is not building through the draft.
In a perfect world, Tebow gets his act together pulls Broncos to .500 and is QB for next year. That allows Denver to shore up the OL and CB in the draft and finally draft good depth.
In reality, Tebow continues to stink it up and RGIII is drafted to become our future.
