Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

WR Justin Blackmon OKST
Blackmon is as good as it gets at going up and getting the ball. He can catch any pass. He doesn't always, but he is capable of it. He is so good with the ball in his hands. He runs a full route tree. Will be a number 1 receiver immediately and will help Tebow's development.
RT Matt Kalil USC
The best offensive tackle prospect since Joe Thomas. Put him in at Tebow's blindside and move Franklin to left guard. Major upgrade at both positions.
CB Morris Claiborne LSU
I honestly think he has Champ potential. He is just too good at picking off quarterbacks. He is phenominal in coverage. He knows how to tackle. He played 2nd fiddle to Patrick Peterson and had 5 interceptions. Now that he is the number 1 he might be able to get even more than that. He has 3 in 8 games and is rarely tested.
And there you have it. 3 immediate starters that improve 5 positions immediately. What more could you ask for in a draft?

If we had Khalil And Clady we would be set at Tackle. I dont know much about Clairbone but if he is that good then I want him instead of Kirkpatrick
Declaring isn't about chasing money, it's about doing what's best for your career.
Who knows if Griffin III believes he's done his best at BU, I mean, he's only been the best player in the nation only to have most of his team let him down, even if he doesn't see it that way.
What I meant by my statement was, Denver will have to give up a 2013 1st round pick to either move up in round 1 to grab RGIII or give up a 2013 1st rd pick to get back in 2012 round 1 to get RGIII.....
sheesh lol, how yall came up with yall's thinking about a simple enough statement is beyond me lol
I have faith in Decker and Thomas once they are able to get more reps in with Tebow. I'd include Royal in that group as well, but I really doubt he re-signs in Denver (just a gut feeling). Also, I'm liking what I've seen from Willis so far thsi year as well - That's why I did not chose Blackmon. Orlando Franklin was just not very good, and would be much better suited at OG. So I ultimately went with the OT with the 3rd spot.
1. Matt Kalil - we need help on the OL and there is none better, but I think he goes top 3 and we will pick 4-6.
2. Morris Claiborne - We have Champ... and a couple of good nickel corners. Claiborne plays outside and move some of the other guys inside to help the safeties.
3. Landry Jones - I have not given up on Tebow, but I think his best years will be with a team other than the Broncos. Our coaching staff and FO have not shown that they want to work with a Tebow... so Griffin will not be the choice. I am not convinced on Barkley yet. Maybe the offseason and combine will help him.
Trent Richardson - We need serious help at RB and the Broncos need a a serious threat in the backfield. If Tebow can grow and Fox can start to work with him then Trent should be the pick.

It's not unreasonable to think we'll be in the 5-10 range, and I think that RGIII will skyrocket up the boards in the offseason with interviews and the combine, so worst case scenario i think we trade back a few spots, if not it wouldn't be too bad of a reach for a franchise quarterback, look at Ponder

It's not unreasonable but I am a homer and a pessimist rolled into one. I believe Tebow will do good enough to get Denver to pick in the mid-rounds. He'll be just good enough to make Tebow fans hopeful, but bad enough for haters to say I told ya so. In the end it won't matter a new QB is in store.
As for RGIII, I couldn't agree with you more. He will be the #2 QB off the board, if he continues to play the way he has. In other words a Top 3 pick. #1 Luck #2 Kalil #3 RGIII
Denver would have to give up too much to move up to get RGIII. No matter if RGIII stock falls or not Denver will have to give up at least 2012 and 2013 1st round picks to move up for RGIII, or a 2013 to move back in round 1 to pick RGIII.

I wouldn't mind giving up a 2013 first if we could land RGIII and Blackmon/Richardson/Claiborne
