Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Robert Griffin III - second best quarterback in the draft, and when you think about it, physically hes the most similar quarterback to Elway in the draft (about the same size, super mobile, and can gun it)
Justin Blackmon - Would be an absolute stud with Griffin III, we'd instantly have one of the most explosive receivers along with somebody who can get him the ball.
Morris Claiborne - best corner I the draft, he fits the mold of a long corner with great hips.
How do we not have a shot at Luck? We are halfway through the season and could easily end up having the first pick. Some of the teams ahead of us could easily win 2-3 games especially at the end of the year when they're playing teams that have already made the playoffs.

If it would make you feel that much better, go ahead. It comes down to Indy/Miami winning 2 more games than us. Miami would have to win THREE MORE games than Denver because we have the tie breaker, not happening.

I'm not going to choose Andrew Luck in this little game nor will I actually play along at all but crazier things have happened in the NFL. To simply say that we're already out of the hunt when we only have two wins this season and our team looks atrocious every week is pretty silly. The NFL is unpredictable is all I am saying.

Well, for one, Indy and Miami are AWFUL. And two, if we have the same record as Miami, they'd have the tiebreaker since we beat them. Indy is historically bad, i can see them winning 1 maybe 2 games at most.
And i think we'll win another game or two anyways to put us out of reach for Luck.

Umm, outside of the Packers game who are the best team in the league, and the Lions who are probably top 3 in the NFC, we've been in every single game, wouldn't go that far hoss.
No one says we're out of the hunt for Luck, but look at the two teams in front of us, Indy looks historically bad, they'll win 1-2 games at most, same with Miami, and as i said, Miami would have the tiebreaker over us for Luck since we beat them.

I already know all of this but realize nothing is certain in this league. We can look at probability and see that a lot has to happen to be there but to be absolutely certain is silly. Regardless, I think we'll be taking a quarterback with our first pick whether it's Andrew Luck or someone else.
OT - Jonathan Martin
WR - Justin Blackmon
DE - Quinton Coples
I'd choose Quinton Coples before a CB. He would give us an unreal pass rush allowing Dumervil and Miller to line up anywhere on the field with Ayers and Coples rushing from the line.
