  • Updated 5-round mock with no trades

    1.) Matt Kalil RT
    2.) Michael Brewster C
3.) Jared Crick DT (If he doesn't drop grab Kawann Short DT)
    4.) Casey Hayward CB
5.) Kellen Moore QB (If he doesn't drop, take Case Keenum QB)
    5.) Derek Wolfe DT

    Our O-line with

    Clady
    Franklin
    Brewster
    Kuper
    Kalil

would be nasty with Beadles coming in on goal-line and other plays in which we have 6 o-linemen.

i like this pick, Matt Kalil. Tebow had no offensive help yesterday

There is 3 teams yet to win. And none of them have an easy road ahead of them. I could see all 3 of them going 2-14 or worse. While I think we can win atleast 2 more games. St Louis, Miami, and Indy could all use Matt Kalil. I just don't see how he falls to us. I will say we pick at 5, He will go top 3.

This would definitely be a mock to help Tebow though. Just don't like shuffling the OL every couple years.

I don't know much about Hayward.

Crick will definitely be there in the 3rd, but Short is not a bad option.

I would love Moore or Keenum.

I don't think Wolfe goes that low, but its possible. But I would rather get some more defensive end depth instead. If we resign Thomas, McBean, or Bunkley (hopefully Bunkley and one of the others) we only need one more guy anyways.

      I like building our OL up as much as possible. In 3 years we could have;

      Ryan Clady- probowl talent
      Franklin- probowl talent
      Brewster- probowl talent
      Kuper-very good starter
Kalil- best right tackle in the NFL

This mock definitely would not make me angry, not one bit. Nice job.

I wouldn't mind that mock at all, but we need a CB in one of the first 2 rounds or we signed someone in free agency.

I'd look to FA for a corner

I like it minus Jared Crick.

That would be an excellent draft, but I don't think there's anyway Crick falls that far even with injury his body of work will have him in the second. I would love it if this happens.

DRC is a FA he would be great for the type of D we are trying to implement

Crick falling is definitely wishful thinking, which is why I put Kawann Short in parenthesis. DRC would be great but I think he has a contract until 2013. Signed a 5 year deal in 2008. Who else would be a good option in the 3rd?

There is definitely some talent at corner in FA, but moreso for #3 and #4 corners. I would like to see us pry Terrell Thomas from NY. Cortland Finnegan is always an option, his contract also expires.

I'd give Weeden a look in the 3rd. Pick up a DT in the fifth.

I stand corrected on DRC I thought I heard someone say it while talking about the eagles wishful thinking on my part lol, I think if someone comes on strong in the senior bowl he could slip.

I like Thomas as well, also Carr from KC would be nice.
