Ive heard alot about Luck, and Jones. What do you think about Matt Barkley? Give me your thoughts on the Broncos drafting him.

From the times I've seen him play I haven't been impressed. He mostly throws dinky little dump off throws and looks to have a noodle for an arm. I've only seen him play a couple times though.

He impressed me in the Stanford game. Showed he can perform with the game on the line in high pressure situations. His team lost due to a fumble by the RB but he really put them in the best position to win.

From the times I've seen him play I haven't been impressed. He mostly throws dinky little dump off throws and looks to have a noodle for an arm. I've only seen him play a couple times though.

He was throwing HIGHLY ACCURATE BOMBS against Stanford over the weekend. He was dueling with Luck directly during OT, and he pushed him right to the brink. In fact in 3OT's he was making the same, some BETTER, throws than Luck. Their RB fumbled the ball near the goaline and it lost them the game. Barkley looked PHENOMENAL against Stanford's Luck this weekend.


As for us drafting him, though, I don't know how I would feel about that. He looks good in college, but so have so many QB's to come out of USC. Carson Palmer was good for a few years but fell off the map. Matt Leinhart...well, we all know that story.

Point is, if we need a QB by season's end and he's the highest available on the board, absolutely take him. But I'm not sure how he will handle the NFL yet. I myself also must watch him play more.

Hell to the naw. I don't even think he's as good as Leinart.

Lots of people don't like him. But to be honest, I would say he is one of 3 QBs, 2 if RG3 doesn't declare which I think is pretty likely, who have franchise QB potential.

The others are either QBs whose best asset is that they are 6'4 230, or are system QBs. Landry Jones is both.

He is your typical boom or bust QB. But as long as you don't throw him to the dogs and start him right away with out an offensive line I think he will be another Matt Stafford. And he definitely has enough arm strength and accuracy.

Elway knows QB's, so if Elway wanted him, just hope for the best.
