Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I prefer Claiborne over Kirkpatrick. Haven't watched Poe yet so I have no opinion on him. Fletcher Cox same deal. Have only watched like 10 snaps of him. Montee Ball reminds me of Knowshon Moreno. Very unpatient and doesn't set up his blocks.
Plus two DT's I am not sure.
I think CB, DT in the first 3 rounds is a must though.
This was based on Walter footballs mock draft. I like Claiborne but I like Kirkpatricks versatility, instincts, and tackling. I have other ways I'd certainly see us draft. I'm a huge Josh Chapman fan and if he could drop to the 3rd I'd be all for him. Same if Janoris Jenkins dropped to the 2nd. And so on

No offense at all. But I think people need to get Janoris Jenkins out of their minds. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION but I don't see any situation where we spend a 2nd or a 3rd on a player that has been busted for weed, mulitple times. One time, fine, but not multiple.

Please quit with these comparisons to current broncos for no good reason. Ball is nothing like Moreno. Nothing. Matt Barkley isn't like Kyle Orton. Not even remotely similar.

Why would I quit that. They are accurate comparisons to certain parts of there game. I have never said he is him 2.0. Never. Not once. I compare certain parts of there game to the others certain parts of there game.
Ball is similar to Moreno in he isn't all that patient and Barkley like Orton in his first two years sturggled down the stretch. Statistcally evident.

He is a steal in the 2nd round. Its like getting 2 first round picks. But people have different views on weed. If he we bring him in and talk to him we should be fine. Im sure thats behind him he already had to change colleges. Plenty of players in the NFL have or still smoke weed.
I don't want to pee in anybody's cheerios, but I think there's a good chance we go with an offensive skill player with one of our early picks.
DT has been underwhelming so far. He looks lost and timid out there. I hope he can live up to his potential, but so far, ugh. Sometimes I wonder if he should even be on the field. Let someone else who's smaller and slower get in there who might at least run the right route and fight for the ball.
We need playmakers on offense in a bad way. Eddie Royal has good speed, but they struggle getting the ball in his hands. McGahee is a legitimate #1, but in our run heavy offense we need a 1a and a 1b.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!

He may be a steal in the 2nd rd. But will he be able to stay on the field? Can EFX really trust that all this is behind him?
Sorry, but i'm not convinced that a talking to will put to rest all doubt, and put JJ on straight street. We are talking about spending a 2nd rd pick.
How many of those players have been busted as much as JJ has BEFORE the draft?
Was it Matt Lepsis that after he retired said that the drug testing policy for the NFL is a crock and if you get caught you have got to be really stupid? Then said he was high for pretty much every game of his career.

lol, i wonder what would happen if we got jenkins and got him a medical liencen then he got caught for smoking could they bust him.

Nothing wrong with those comparisons at all.
Ok I understand, and LeMichael James is similar to Champ Bailey because he runs fast and is a good return man. And Andrew Luck is similar to Kyle Orton because he is an accurate pocket passer. And Trent Richardson is similar to Lance Ball because the are powerbacka.
You can't just say a guy is similar to a current bronco that is underwhelming because they shair one trait. Players have multiple strengths. Players have multiple weaknesses.
Montee Ball might not be patient, but he is a power runner. He is an average receiver. He scores touchdowns. Moreno is impatient, is a finess runner, and is a great receiver. They don't have similar running styles. They don't have similar weaknesses. The only thing they have in common is that they can be impatient at times.

Whats wrong with you. Why be a smart ass for. It was completely un called for. The comparisons I made were legit and are 100% true.

Yes no crap and I was pointing out one part of the guys game which is similar. One which is Morenos biggest weakness and one that scares me about Montee Ball. Same with Barkley. In his first two years he struggled down the stretch of the season more so than the start. Does that not sound like Orton. Another important part of the game which scares me. The comparisons are worthy and serious concerns on the players named. Just cause you dislike the comparisons doesn't make them any less true.

Montee Ball is not just a power runner. He has been so much more this year. he has power and has dropped tone of weight and looks so much more agile and fast.
They do not have similar running styles and I never said anything like that. Just there one biggest flaw in each of them is comparable. The one similar weakness they DO have. Impatient.
The only thing they have in common is that they can be impatient at times.
That is what I said to start with and you go on rambling about it and then agree with it.
