Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I want us to get a CB or WR in the first, and I want Chris Polk from Washington in the second. Polk's a tough runner. Reminds me of a faster, and less troublesome Marshawn Lynch.
I would like Stephon Gillmore in the first. He's the best tackling corner I have ever seen, and I watch Champ Bailey's tackling as well. His awareness is amazing, and he is pretty good in zone and man coverage. He doesn't have the greatest speed, but he's not extremely slow either.

I don't know much about Gilmore. I shouldn't have included Minnifield, he has struggles lately and is a round 2/3 pick.

Not too bothered about a WR with the offense we run.
DT and Decker are starters and we have Royal (if he stays) and Willis. I'm hoping Julius Thomas has an impact next season

DT's good when he's not injured, but he always is. Royal hasn't really impressed me too much this season as a WR. I like Willis, but I don't think he's ready to be a #2 if Royal leaves and Thomas gets hurt.
We don't pass the ball a lot, but when we do, I want that part of the offense to be good too, so opposing defenses will have troubles against that. As for Hosley, I honestly haven't seen him play much, but I saw a scouting report on him. He's a ball hawk with great reflexes, but can be beat by larger receivers and he sucks at tackling. I'd say he's a poor man's Asante Samuel.

I hate the thought of drafting a LB round one or even round two and three. Just seems so unnecessary. I do think regardless of how well the defense is playing the secondary is still top priority.
I haven't seen any of them, but usually WRs are a bad idea in the first round. There are a few freak of nature type players, but I remember seeing a breakdown of how the chances of getting just a generic player or a bust are really high for that position.
I see the broncos' needs in that areas as moderate at best. Are the people suggesting a WR saying that out of need or because they think there are going to be exceptional ones still available?
Personally, I'd like to see Bunkley, Mays, Prater, Colquitt, Woodyard, McBean, Willis, Rosario, and Thomas back. Most of them would come relatively cheap, too. Bunk, Prater, and Colquitt will all likely be the most expensive out of the bunch, but all 3 should be affordable.
The Broncos probably think they have enough information on Minnesota in the current gameplan to deal with the Vikings on Sunday.
Acquiring McNabb would have a price tag and would require releasing a player. Logically that would be Quinn, but practically that would be unwise.
The rest of the roster is currently well balanced and full of young players who are part of what is happening on the team right now. There are questions about McNabb's conditioning and ability to run Denver's offense.
Future QBs added to the roster may be much more Tebowesque than Donovan McNabb.
He will be claimed by another team. I like Rodd's theory.
I guess nobody claimed McNabb, the 1.5 million contract was to much considering what he is worth, the veteran minimum.
Get off the friggin DT train guys, you're just setting yourself up for senseless outrage, see last offseason.
It's not a need. Denver has 4 under contract for next year and they're likely to try to extend their best guy, a free agent.
face or not, it is the one position that we could add that would make this defense from Really good to Elite. if we could get a DT who gets a bit better penetraition and will prevent the QB from stepping up it would allow us to get hace 2 double digit sackers Doom and Miller. along with some one to prevent them from stepping up which would add 5-7 sacks and could make a very dangerous Trio
