If the Broncos keep Tebow and develop him this offseason (which I believe they should and will do) they need to go with a backup who hasn't been a clear cut starter in the league. Having a backup like VY who's had some success in the league could immediately turn into a QB controversy if the team were to lose a few in a row and or Tebow didn't play well over that time.
I think the ideal situation would be resigning Brady Quinn, or someone like Jsh Johnson who is a run first QB that has been a backup in the league.

Pass on Vince. Resigning Quinn is realistic and probably cost effective. I think he's come to terms with being a career back up unless he resigns and Tebow gets hurt and he does what Matt Cassel did in NE. Then draft someone like Chandler Harnish to develop or bring in a guy like Masoli or Dennis Dixon. Don't know if Josh Johnson is a FA next year but that's another name I like.

Realistically there's only a few guys I 'want' at this point.
Luke Kuechly
Michael Floyd
Dre Kirkpatrick
Honestly that's about it right now. I wouldn't be too opposed to Denard at this point, but I'm still questioning if he's gonna be worth a 1st.
I haven't come close to completing my research into the 2011 draft yet, and someone could always slip. No one on earth thought Prince Amukamara would fall like he did last year, but it happened.
Maybe we'll just luck out and Barkley will fall. Stranger things have happened.

If we make the playoffs
I don't expect us to win the superbowl let alone make it there. So I assume we'll be picking at 20. What I would like to see us do is trade back and acquire more picks as we are still rebuilding this team and although we could stay put and go best player available, I think it'd be in our best interest to acquire more talent in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
So assuming we trade back and acquire more picks, I'd look for us to trade back into the upper 2nd round. Acquire a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round pick. And draft as follows:
2 Mark Barron S
2 Jarred Crick DT
3 Levy Adcock OT
3 Josh Chapman DT
4 Andre Branch DE
4 Michael Brewster OC
5 Casey Hayward CB
7 Chandler Harnish QB
Now I'm sure everyone has their opinion of who goes where but like I said, I just used cbssports rankings as a guideline. But also projected Crick to fall further than they ranked him because of his injury.

I wouldn't be opposed to Janoris Jenkins, although I has my doubts regarding Elway taking a guy with his character issues.
