Here is a chance to throw you list of sleeper prospect, guys you have seen but no one is talking about...this is my favorite part of scouting.

1.) CB Greg Gaston, Arkansas 5'11"-185
This kid made a tremendous pick against Texas A&M when Gaston took a ball away from pro prosapect Jeff Fuller. That shows he can run and jump with NFL talent.

    2) DT Hebron Fangupo, BYU 6'2"-333
A former USC recruit, Fangupo will probably get over looked because the Cougar defense sucked. But if USC recruited him, he has the body and the disposition to suprise. In the games I watched, he held his ground pretty well, and flashed some phone booth strength. Fang is older having served a Mormon mission, but he is also more mature.

    3) DE Frank Alexander, Oklahoma 6'3"-265
I keep hearing how he is athletically limited, but all he does is make plays when I watch the Sooners play

    4) DT Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, Baylor 6'2"-338
Flashed in the OU game when he beat a Sooner OG, and sacked Landry Jones. Certainly has the body to warrant a closer look.

    5.) C Philip Blake, Baylor 6'3"-320
An inexperienced player from Canada just learning the game, but he has a big body, and has a skill set that could keep him in the NFL. Great middle round C/G depth prospect.

    6.) WR/PR Travis Benjamin, Miami 5'11"-178
Pencil thin, but Benjamin has special skills as a punt returner, and tracks the ball well as a deep threat.

    Add yours to the list.

There are so many excellent football players who never get drafted or even get a chance...

        I would add:

        Steven Johnson, MLB, Kansas
        Tisyn Hartman, S, Kansas State
        Austin Davis, QB, Southern Miss.
        Dominique Davis, QB, Eastern Carolina
        Danny Trevanthan, OLB, Kentucky

        and...

Vic Hall, S, top tackler and interceptor in Arena Football
Deunta Williams, S, injured late in the season and the NFL didn't give him a chance this year
Lendy Holmes, CB, UFL -- very skillful corner at Oklahoma a couple years ago

Probably many more we don't know about, especially in lower divisions.

Junior CB Johnthan Banks, Miss St, 6'2 190 pounds, runs a 4.5 forty
            59 total tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 5 interceptions, 1 touchdown

Extremely physical in run game, 3 years of great production in the SEC, I really don't understand the lack of hype on the guy.

Will probably end up a 3rd round pick this year if he comes out.

Junior Defensive lineman Fletcher Cox, Miss St, 6'4 295, rumored to be able to run 4.6 forty

Was 6'4 240 pounds coming out of highschool. Ran a 4.47 forty back then. Quickly grew into a defensive tackle's body at 6'4 295. He plays strong side 5 technique in Miss state's 3-4 defense. Coz is a natural penetrator with a variety of pass rush moves. His skill set doesn't fit 3-4 defense very well unless in a Wade Phillip's concept. Cox has great accelaration off the ball. He shows a natural array of pass rushing moves such as; dip, spin, speed, and bull rush. He has an excellent motor and hustles all over the field.

On the year he has 49 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 12.5 tackles for a loss. Because of the defense he plays in it limits his potential impact. IMO he is much more polished and is a better athlete than Nick Fairley was last year.

His weaknesses include that he is relatively weak and can be overpowered by larger lineman. He needs a fair amount of developing before he can reach his potential. His potential is as high as Reggie White, the minister of defense. And no, that is not an exaggeration.

Cox has already declared for the draft. He will likely be a 2nd round pick, but may move higher with a great combine which is pretty likely from what I have read and seen of him.

                CB-Ryan Steed

-Seems a bit slow and could be a 5th round pick. Looks like a solid project as a safety IMO and although being only 190 looks much bigger and plays much bigger.

                QB-Chandler Harnish

-I have liked him from the start of the year. He IMO can make his way into the top 4 rounds once he shows how smart he is and when he kills all the athletic stuff at the combine for a QB.

                LB-Emmanuel Acho

-Looks to be moving on up now. Was around 6th round thinking early on in the season. Very good middle linebacker. If we were to lose Mays or let him go. Irving would start and this guy could be a backup and project. 4th round right now.

Baylor WR Kendall Wright has incredible deep speed, and is a legit punt returner as well...kid can fly

...and where the hell has everyone been on Clemson DE Andre Branch? He is an NFL DE if ever I have seen one.

Would you draft him for the Broncos if they selected, say No. 20 overall in the first?

I would draft him in the top 10 picks of the draft with this coaching staff. I thoroughly believe in Fox to be able to motivate and get the best out of Cox.

                              Wow.

                              That's quite a statement.

Well then, if we got him in the late teens to early twenties, that would be a bargain, I guess.
