  • Vincent Jackson

does anybody think that we're a potential candidate for Jackson, when he's a free agent this upcoming offseason? I know that we're a run first team, but for a number one deep threat receiver that's not entirely bad. He's from the Mile High, so we might be able to throw some cash out and land a top receiver in the league, leaving us with size on size with Jackson, Thomas, and Decker.

I think Danny Snyder will do all he can to make him a Redskin.

It would be nice! That would be a HUGE receiving trio. Like you said he is from Colorado and went to college there so we might have a good shot.

I would pee my pants if we managed to land Vjax.

People talk about Desean Jackson as a FA, but I'd take Vincent 9 times out of 9. lol.

He's big and competitive, and has been a true pro for San Diego for the last few years while getting paid 10 dollars an hour.

He'd be perfect for this offense, deep threat, big target, and blocks down field. Sign me up.

I'd crap my pants if we landed VJax, the guy is an absolute monster.

And a 3-WR set of VJ, Decker and DT would be pretty lethal.

I give it a 5% shot since we're a run-first team, but maybe a slim shot since he is from Colorado and went to college.

Speaking of WR's, my god this WR class is stacked in free agency.

I'd honestly give us a 15% shot, just because it's not all bad that we're run first. He could get a pay day to come home, if EFX is willing to save us a draft pick by spending some cash.

Extremely unlikely. We seen what Demaryius Thomas can do and hope that continues. Decker has had some drops but he is getting better. I think we have nice #1 and #2 of the future with DT and Decker. I think we need an explosive slot receiver. I really like Kendall Wright from Baylor in that role.

That would be a great receiving core with a lot of potential.

I'd pass on V Jax. Were a young team and were still re-building so the last thing I want to do it throw a bunch of money into a wide receiver. Take that money and sign a MLB or DT.

We have MLBs. Take Jackson, if he'd be willing to come here. Then get DL & OL depth

                      we dont need wrs.

We have decker, royal, dt, willis, plus a guy from the PS...I bet we will look for one, a speedy guy or draft a returner type. But imo no we do not need to spend for a WR...especially a top notch one.

We need to keep our $$ on defense.
                      So far:
                      FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
                      1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

Royal will most likely be gone next year. I don't see Fox and Co. keeping him after his injuries this season.

I'd make a big run at him if we could. He's the kind of big target we need opposite of D Thomas if we really want to surround Tebow with weapons. V Jax/D Thomas (assuming he stays healthy and keeps progressing) and Decker would be scary.
