Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

He is my guy right now to address the wide receiver position.
I would love the potential of Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Kendall Wright.
Very good mix of talent with potential
They all bring something else to the table too. Royal wouldn't be too bad of a 4th WR either. Probably would cost a us a 2nd rounder which is right around where I suspect we take a WR.

Yeah I would think 2nd round is a receiver as well. I don't think Royal is back as the 4th receiver on the team. I think it will be too much money invested in a 4th receiver. I think Matthew Willis re-signs as the number 4 guy and Mark Dell comes back and fills out the wide receiver crew.
And hopefully we develop Julius Thomas further over the off season and we come back with a very nice young group of ball catches.

My hope is when we are on the clock a team who passed on a quarterback to get either Justin Blackmon or Matt Kalil in the first trade up to the early 20's where we should be to get Ryan Tennehill. Then we could get an extra 2nd and 3rd in the top 10 picks and then could have the oppurtunity to get the guys I want.

i think both of those look like they could enter the elite portion of the league and get us competing on a year in and year out basis. i am not sure Slot will be that big of a need, from what i understand fox and mccoy want to use more 2 TE packages with Thomas and the others mentioned. plus i think if we could grab a guy like david wilson or lamichael james in third or Isiah pead in the fourth we could line them up as a RB and flex them out to slot.

I also think thats the spot where Landry Jones could go. If unable to trade down in round 1, I want Davon Still or Janoris Jenkins.
i bet jones stays for his senior year and the chance to be the first overall qb taken, his stocks dropping nd his films not the best
He probably should, but being the #1 ovr pick really doesn't mean all that much anymore. With the rookie scale, you won't be getting those mega contracts anymore. And I think next year Tyler Bray would be the first QB taken.

i understand where you are coming from witht he rookie scale and it not meaning that much. i just feel like jones is the QB who would most benefit from another year in the college system. he is just to inconsistant for me to bank on him as a franchise QB in all honestly i would have
