Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Denver has two young safties. I thik Moore has regressed and it may have hurt him long term, We desperately need a Vet back there to help line up the D. I dont see how you cant sign him.
I think Carter has played pretty bad as well. but he gets over shadowed by Moores dreadful season. Its nice to have a team that can have competition at a position and that would definitely create that.
Your second sentence doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Get a more of a vet? Griffin is a vet. please clarify
Griffin's not a vet. He still has at least 7 more years in the league and would demand a 5 or 6 year deal. He's 26. In his prime.
You don't shell out 12 million a year to a guy who's just blocking your draft pick investments from ever seeing the field in the prime of their career.
Griffin is a very inconsistent safety, according to my friend who's a die-hard Titans fan.
But he'd still be an upgrade on Carter/Moore and add a veteran presence for the safeties.
I'm not giving up on Carter or Moore. I believe they are our safeties of the future.
We just need to understand that we'd be taking playing time away from one of those safeties next season, if we sign him.
I believe the Broncos are going to let Moore and Carter start next season together, and let them go through their bumps in hopes that they'll improve over the course of a season.

Ok my definition of a vet compared to yours is vastly different. Hes in his Fifth season. The average career length in the NFL is 4.5 years.
Definition, Synonyms, Translations of veteran by The Free Dictionary
1. Having had long experience or practice:
Seen the average NFL career is 4.5 years 5 years would make him a credible veteran in my eyes.
The guys in the league for 4 years aren't his level of skill. Compare him to the other safeties of his caliber and you'll find much, much differently. Just ask Brian Dawkins about that one.

You never stated that in your original argument.. You left it open ended. Now you want to narrow your scope to fit your argument. silly
Sign Griffin, Dan Connor, Kevin Williams and draft a top CB and our defense is set for years!
After all that, Michael Bush would be a great addition to our offense! Am I asking too much?
I'd be ok with a 1-2 punch of micheal bush and WM. Dan Connor is a upgrade to the defense lathough he does have health concerns. Kevin Williams RB Detroit?

I'd opt out for Griffin and Calais Campbell.
Griffin is an instant upgrade at safety, as is Campbell at UT. Both can make plays, and both are young. I'd feel okay giving both of them long-term deals. I'd save CB for the draft like you said, and Michael Bush would be a nice addition, although I'd love to see Chris Polk in a Denver uniform.

DT Minnesota. I know he's a tad old, but will pair well with Bunkley!
I'd limit us to one big FA signing at the most and even that is doubtful, so the chances of us signing Griffin and Campbell seem slim seeing as both are going to be pricy. SoS put it best, "You don't shell out 12 million a year to a guy who's just blocking your draft pick investments from ever seeing the field in the prime of their career." Even if his numbers are slightly exaggerated.
