  • Thursday's Bowl Game Prospect Watch Thread...

I thought it would be advantageous to have a thread for us to discuss some of the prospects that will be playing today. There's quite a lot, and multiple from each team. I was going to create a list of "Prospects to Watch" with their stats and everything, but I decided to streamline it a bit and just include names, numbers, and which team they are on. Hope we can have a lengthy discussion...

I kept telling myself eventually the bowl games would get better and have more talent to watch. Alas, it's here.

here's the guy I really want to see

        #13 - OLB - Nigel Bradham - 6'3" 240

I would have thought he'd be ranked as a higher OLB, but I think his attitude would gel nicely with Miller for years to come.

Someone mentioned him in the 4th round as an option - maybe he'll last...

Michael Floyd is a really good football player. He's big, athletic, and has good hands. He's also a very willing and aggressive blocker.

Does anyone know where the criticism against his character comes from?

Just kind of dumb stuff you do when you're young.

He was arrested for a DUI in 2010 and was charged with underage drinking the year before. Notre Dame opted to suspend him during their summer practices.

I don't want any other ND players on this team. Look at Claussen, Quinn, Harris, etc.

You don't want him just cause he's from Notre Dame?

Real nice play by Bradham to create the interception opportunity. Nice heads up play to get the arms up as the balls going over the middle.

And now Te'o creates a fumble that is returned for a TD. 2 big plays early from the highlighted linebackers in this game. Good start for Bradham/Te'o.

Teo would fit in well in orange and blue.

Just saw him do a salute

You put 4 freshmen linemen versus Notre Dame's defense? Child please.

The only thing stopping this team from greatness is the QB position.
