Lines up in 5 tech on right tackle. Pushes his guy backward and and gets in QB's face and forces quick pass.

Lines up in 5 tech on left tackle. Stunts to the right side because of a blitz. No effect on play. Was in a QB spy type role.

That's my dream draft. I'd say Kendall Wright in the 2nd but I think the success of Torrey Smith will help him get into either the late 1st or early 2nd round before we get the chance to grab him.

Lines up outside right tackle in a 9 technique. Keeps outside contain. Spins an makes the tackle for a medium game. Looks like Cox was doing his assignment. A linebacker should have filled.

Not on the field.

Play 3;
Lines up on right tackle in a 5 tech. Bull rush pushes his man back. The play is a rollout away from Cox, so he has no effect on play.

Play 4;
Lines up outside guard in a 3 tech. Gets immediate penetration. The play is an end around away from Cox once again.

Play 5;
Lines up on right tackle in a 5 tech. Gets outside pressure, but QB steps up and completes a pass to beat the edge blitz.

Play 6;
Lines up inside left guard in a 1 tech. Gets immediate pressure and there is a blatant penalty on the guard that Cox that isn't called.

Play 7;
Lines up in 5 tech on right tackle. Goes upfield and leaves a huge running lane.

Play 8;
Lines up in 5 tech on left tackle. Goes upfield. Play ran away from Cox no effect on play.

Play 9;
Lines up at 5 tech on right tackle. Stays and works his way down the line. No effect on play. Keeps offensive lineman off of him on this sweep though.

Play 10;
Lines up at 1 tech inside left guard. Pushes his man back. QB steps up into Cox and Cox gets a coverage sack.

Play 11;
This is a field goal attempt. Cox knocks his lineman on his ass and blocks the field goal right up the middle.

Star players make star plays in star moments. Cox just completely changes momentum in this game.

Fletcher Cox just got a sack, and then he blocked a punt. Great motor, and great burst/pad level there.

I forgot who but one of the college football analysts for ESPN said that Relf would be a Cam Newton type player, just something to keep in mind. He certainly has his build and his running style, not really sure about his arm/accuracy though.

I like Mohamed Sanu. Runs a variety of routes, and shows savvy by being given the opportunity to run option routes to expose zone coverage. Nice blend of size/speed/quickness. I think he's the type of guy you draft and he makes an instant impact.

Fletcher Cox is impressing me with his burst off the snap. He's got a violent initial punch that lets him keep distance from blockers. Looks like a really good player that would thrive next to a guy like Bunkley who takes on blockers and could free Cox up to single blockers. To me he's a better talent than Devon Still, and I've watched every game Still has played.

Johnson got beat by Sanu all day. The only reason the stats don't show that was that Sanu wasn't even looked at sometimes and Rutgers wasn't passing the ball much. If they did either of those it would be fairly clear that Johnson got beat. As it was Sanu had a decent game, but it probably should have been worse. I'm just saying that Johnson looks better if you look at receiver stats that he was because Rutgers didn't have very good QBs out there and didn't pass all that much. It has nothing to do with what Iowa State has on offense, all I'm saying is Leonard Johnson had a pretty bad game there.

Reynolds got flat out beat by Ryan all day, Ryan had him on lockdown, very impressed with Ryan, I don't really know much about Reynolds but I've seen Ryan before and its happened before. He's a very talented cover corner.

Reynolds is one of those hot cold kind of guys he will make a crazy catch one second then when he has his guy beat like on the short crossing route he will just drop the ball. That 4th down play was actually a great throw that Reynolds just dropped. Yes Ryan was there, but I see no reason that isn't caught because if it hits both hands it should be caught and he dropped it. Ryan looked great though, but again we had our second string QB in that makes Tebow's bad throws look great. And combine our pass rush let the Rutgers QB have all day to throw, but I will say that Rutger little running back runs with alot of power and looked great. And he is only a freshman???

Going to start giving my analysis on the game. I have watch Miss St a few times this year and Relf always surprises me with how big he is.

And Ballard showed some nice burst there. 60 yard untouched touchdown.

So far I watched...

Tulsa vs BYU
-Kyle Van Noy stood out on the BYU defense. He was a playmaker, had several tackles, looked good in coverage, and had a sack. He's relentless, gets off blocks pretty well, and is fairly fast. He's a junior so I think he could come out this year if he wanted, and would make a decent late round pick to be a backup. His athleticism and ability should allow him to play both SLB and WLB.
-Tulsa line dominated the BYU offensive line. I'm not sure if it was Tulsa being good there or BYU being bad or just a mix of those two. I don't really know any Tulsa linemen coming out this year, or guys that particularly stood out, but I just thought I'd note that the whole line dominated today at least.

Rutgers vs. Iowa State
-Mohammed Sanu is a stud of a receiver, didn't have a huge game but he's a big guy, with good hands and good YAC ability. He's had an amazing year and would have had a better game if they had thrown to him more (he was open) and just threw more, a fumble was the worst part of his game, but Rutgers recovered that and it looked like he just squeezed the ball to hard when he collided with a defensive player. He's probably a first or second rounder this year if he comes out, which I'm not sure of (lots of conflicting reports).
-Coleman the other Rutgers receivers is big (6'6) and he is fast, he's a true freshman I think but in the future he could be a solid player
-Logan Ryan, the corner for Rutgers was an absolute stud this game. He was a lockdown corner on Iowa States best receiver and played well against the run as well. He's a true sophomore in his first year starting, and if he comes out next year and continues to play like he has all season/today, he's a 1st or 2nd rounder easy.
-Leonard Johnson the CB from Iowa State that people were talking about looked pretty bad. Sanu clearly beat him, and the damage would have been worse if Rutgers actually had a decent QB for most of the game/threw more. He was exposed as Sanu beat him on a couple deep routes (where he wasn't thrown too but he was still open). He's not very fast and he isn't very big. I know some guys here are high on him but I just don't see him doing well in the NFL where there are going to be a lot of receivers that are going to be a matchup nightmare for him, speed and size wise.

Mississipi State is playing Wake Forest now, I'm going to keep watch on Fletcher Cox, and Wake Forest's receiver David Givens. Not really sure who else will stand out though.

Yes Iowa state was bad and I watched, but saying Johnson was bad because Rutgers didn't have a good QB throwing the ball, you must have not seen that Iowa state doesn't have a passer at QB. Steele Jantz got benched because he threw it more accurate to the to the other team than his own guys, which was put on display, as he should have had more than that last INT. Reynolds seems to be in the mold of Brandon Lloyd can make some crazy catches, but then drop easy ones and when the QB gets the ball to you and you drop it, it is going to make the corner look good, which Rutgers number 11 was good.

As far as the line we got destroyed and couldn't block their front four to save our lifes. ISU is a team that runs the ball and they weren't getting any push, and with the starting QB out of the game, due to 3 guys coming in untouched for the most part, it was going to be a long game. O and never put a 5'7" guy on a 6'6'' WR because it will end bad.

As far as Johnson I think he will be more of a safety, he showed he could stay with Blackmon with weeden throwing at him, so he could stay with them it just seemed like this game everytime I saw him he was playing off coverage and allowing the catch in front of him to make a tackle.

Going to miss Knott though that guy is a warrior and a great LB. But it was a tough loss and we got beat at the point of attack and turned it over way to many times.

Vick Ballard who I know some people like just fumbled.

Fletcher Cox just lined up as an end, ran past the tackle on a run and comes back for the tackle, showed a great motor, good change of direction ability, and good closing speed.

Ballard just redeemed himself with a 60 yard run. He showed pretty good speed/burst there, ran through a hole untouched the whole way.
