Silly silly. Running backs after a year like Ball had should be well gone. At that position and the short life span and the risk of injury it is just dumb.

Perhaps the short life span and risk of injury is one of the reasons he is choosing to return to school and have a sort of back up plan

Agreed, just as QB's who come out early have the lowest success rate, RB's who stay an extra year are the most likely to get injured, and/or drop.

Yes but then can always be done later in life. Get the money. Get the most of a football career you can while you are younger and get a degree later on.

            Yep. It is too risky.

And what are the chances he produces like he just did.

Actually the NFL has a great program for higher level education, some players have gotten there Phds and masters while playing. However, only a handful take advantage of it.

Didn't know that. Well there you go. He should have declared. He may regret it

Yeah, lots of of players go back and finish their degrees during the offseason.

Some have even gotten there ministry license (wouldnt be shocked if Tebow did that if he hadnt already)

His stock would have gone way up with a great combine.

But Ball isn't a workout warrior.

And I love Ball, I really want him in orange and blue. But a great combine probably wouldn't have happened.

Many argued despite being behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL he may even be better the Richardson and was going to be a 1st rounder or 2nd not because of his fast speed but because of his fast feet. If he was projected as 3rd I wouldnt completely blame him with the new rookie caps its going to be tough not having that guaranteed money.

What erks me is we RG3 comes out and Ball stays we need a RB and I believed we were in good position for Ball, and RG3 coming out when we arent in position for him and we are questioning Tebows ability, if only the roles were reversed my dream combo may have happened this year

I really like Ball, but give me Martin or Pead. Both will be available in the mid rounds. I think Martin could have an amazing career, he runs so mean, and has really good speed.
