There is no way DJ goes back to MLB and WW comes in to start at WOLB. DJ will stay at WOLB and someone will play at MLB whether that's Mays, Irving, FA, or draft pick is unknown, but it isn't going to be DJ. DJ had a very solid year this season, maybe his best in recent years, they won't move him out again.

I think WW is 50/50 for coming back.
What Willis has done for our special teams is enough reason to sign him. It's not like he will ask for a fat contract.

I agree with you. I think it would be a horrible idea to put DJ in the middle and I think Fox and Allen know that too. We need a solid MLB. I am interested to see Irving's progression next year.

I would let Mays walk, and WW stay. WW is a solid leader and is much better in pass coverage. Which is more valuable from the MLB position on our team based on the amount of blitzes we utilize from our outside backers.

I'm not saying Willis is a consistent WR, just that out of all our WRs, he seems to be the best at catching balls from Tebow and has good chemistry with him. Thomas is passing him up though but Willis still catches the ball better from Tebow than Royal or Decker and he has better chemistry than them too.

WW is a lock to come back imo. We'll do a lot to bring him back, if he doesn't come back it'll be because he got a starting job elsewhere. He means a ton to our nickle defense and gives us a ton of flexibility. And he provides excellent depth. Allen came from NO where they had Vilma at MLB. Williams is extremely similiar to Vilma so they might try it based on the similiarities and Williams said he likes MLB the most anyway. Or if they don't put Williams there, Woodyard might be entered into the mix to give Irving/Mays (assuming he's re-signed) some competition but I don't think he'd win that because I don't think he has the skillset to be a good MLB.

Either way if he is a free agent and Denver was interested he is from here so maybe that would be an attractive possibility for him. Plus we are now a play off team. Plus he would get to play in a 4-3 so he would get a lot more oppurtunity to shoot gaps and rack up stats. He is highly productive for a 3-4 5 Tech

Lets resign a few of our players before hitting up the FA market.

Id like to retain Moreno, Bunkley, and Prater for starters...they're on their contract years correct?
Moreno has 2 more years left on his deal.

Bunk/Prater are easily 1-2 on players we need to re-sign for sure.

profootbalkfocus.com rated Joe as a positive player and Wesley as a minus five. Id be interested tk hear why you think opposite.

Why do people listen to those stats from profootballfocus. Renaldo Hill was also one of the best safeties accoridng to them.

If memory serves he was the 9th ranked safety. And that's pretty accurate. Aside from one play in the jets game he had a good season. He was only cut because of Rahim Moore being a 2nd round pick.

I don't think so. He was not one of the best in the NFL like this website claimed. But he was not cut because of Moore. He was cut cause he was old and not that great.

Extending Willis should be a no brainer. He also throws key blocks on running plays, in fact had the key one on Tebows rushing TD last week.

He plays every WR spot, essentially, he was the reason Gaffney was traded.

extending a WR who has contributed very little his entire career is a no brainer? I don't understand that reasoning.

Keep him next season since he is still under contract and see what he does. After that, he will be 29 and they can decide what to do with him. Do you really think he is so indispensable? There should be a ton of FA who would be instant upgrades over him, not to mention all of the young guys in the draft. Mark Dell is a better prospect, imo. Extending Willis now would be a huge waste, imo.

I would admit he wasn't top 10, but he didn't have any pass rush either. Nobody in our secondary looked good that year besides Champ.
