  • Tomlinson?

How would you guys feel about bringing LT to denveR? I know he doesnt have much gas left in the tank but I mean on a one year deal that way a rookie could be mentored by both McGahee and LT. I dunno I am at work super bored and it was a random thought that popped in my head...lets see how many people bash me for this hahaha :thumb:

I like him, but we need to get younger at Running back.
So cal Water Polo player Broncos fan

In his first start T.J Yates has tied Tony Romo for playoff wins.

I think I just want him for the sake of the possibility he would crap all over San Diego twice a year haha.

While it might be true that he "doesn't have much" left in his tank, that's relative. He's proven with the Jets that he's still capable of running in the 4 yards-per-carry range. In addition, much of Tomlinson's value comes from his great pass-catching and pass-blocking skills, both of which are still very good. So even not having lots of gas, he can still do what we'd need him to do. The bottom line is "how much will it cost?"

            Exactly!

I would bring him in ONLY if the price is right.

No, I would if we didn't have Moreno under contract, but I think Moreno can offer anything LT can, mixed in with youth and slightly more explosiveness.

No thanks. McGahee is mentor enough.

He just said he wouldn't want to play in Denver with TT so no

Also, we already have our veteran back for mentoring and I think he has more left in the tank, imo we need to find the youn backs that will be here that he can mentor

You're joking, right? LT's a much better option than KM. Saying that, I'd only bring LT in for the right $

Well, it appears LT might not be Jet next season:

You're joking right? LT is nothing more than a receiver out of the backfield at this point in his career, something KM is actually good at. LT can't run anymore. Having KM for 10 games is better than having LT for a full season.

PS I'm not saying this bc of my username. I didn't think thing through when I chose it. LOL

                              I'd still rather have Tomlinson
