Franklin is out of position and Beadles is out of position. I don't like the way we're set up right now, and I hope to God we change in the offseason.

We won't be able to accurately evaluate Franklin as a pass blocking OT until we have a passing game.

Well Dave Magazu is one of the best o-line coaches in the NFL, I'm sure he'll make sure everyone is in their best positions and he'll do a good job of coachin 'em up this offseason.

Some sacks. Your opinion on his number of allowed sacks to your cavalier response to it is stupid. He was horrendous and still shows he isnt fast enough for elite DE's. It is a fair enough question considering the number of allowed sack fumbles have come from his side. Ill give him that he is fresh and learning something new but its far from a dumb question especially with a draft loaded with o line help. He would still secure the LG position if we moved him there.

He reacts slowly and tends to let defenders get into his body before putting his hands on them.

To your point, I think he ultimately needs to go back to playing guard, but our run offense will suffer as a result. I think Franklin's best hope (unless he really gets his technique fixed) is to be a career backup (and a versatile one at that, being able to back up OG or OT), which apparently we need these days with the injuries we keep getting.
I stopped reading after that, you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

Would you flip them? Do you see Orlando Franklin as a pulling guard? It looks to me like the guards in this offense need to be pullers. Do you see Zane Beadles as a down blocking, drive blocking tackle? It looks like those are the kinds of run blocks tackles in this O need to do.

They are not out of position. They are in the best spots to make the blocks they can do best in this run game. O-Line coaches put their best five on the field and shuffle them around to get everybody in their best spot. If one of the top five can't go, then bring in #6 and reshuffle, if necessary.

Or you can just watch him on pass plays..

rookie, few games reps in pass blocking. I'll give him more time to develop before I judge him. he shows promise.

Agreed. He's a mauler in the run game. He may not be well-suited to be a pulling guard, but I'm sure Kuper could handle those responsibilities if Franklin moved inside.

As to whether you move Franklin or not, I'd see what value/opportunities FA and the draft provide and then shuffle the line as necessary.

really? I've seen one, maybe two sack fumbles. Give numerous examples and I'll buy into it. He made the All Rookie team at right tackle, beating out the number 9 overall pick (Tyron Smith), 18 overall pick (Nate Solder), 25 overall pick (James Carpenter), and 32 overall pick (Derek Sherrod).

You're not convincing me that he was "horrendous" while beating out EVERY one of the RTs i named.

Not only was he a rookie, he has never played the position before.

I thought he did a pretty good job for the most part

Maybe he could be a better guard, but he held his own at RT and we dont want to put Beadles at tackle
Beadles is even worse at tackle than guard

We need some bigger and stronger interior linemen
I dont think Beadles and Walton have the physical strength to be anything more than average
