I can agree with the statement that Denver does not neccesarily need to draft a new backer.

That said, if the best player available is a backer, maybe that's the direction Denver needs to go and add a playmaker and a future cornerstone of the team.

    :shrugs:

All depends on who the decision makers rank over another and their draft day strategy.

That is your opinion. There is not just one BPA. Need is always a factor to some degree.

Well when you said at WILL it would mean moving DJ. That would be terrible. He will get eaten up at MLB. he will get murdered in there.
WILL is his ideal fit, but if we were to get him he'd be a better MLB than DJ would. I don't want Brown though, I think it would be a bad pick but if he was drafted he should go to the middle not the edge.

Who doesn't fit our system. Burfict would be perfect for us. Extremly physical. He has good range and is a play maker. Irving is a decent prospect but in no way is he a better prospect than either Kuecly and Burfict.
We've already had this discussion. Burfict is overrated as a 4-3 MLB. He's stiff and can't change directions well, not to mention he's a pretty bad tackler and lacks discipline which you sort of need when you are the leader of a defense. Irving doesn't have quite the instincts that Kuechly have, but he's much better athletically and gets off blocks better. Irving doesn't have quite the physical talent that Burfict has with his size/speed but Irving is a more fluid player and is a much better tackler than Burfict. He doesn't do anything particularly amazing but he was a prospect with few actual holes in his game and instead does everything pretty well.

I wouldn't. So you prefer Brown at MIKE than any of these other guys you just mentioned. Okay.
Yes, except maybe Kuelchy, but I'm not too sure about that.

In short, the linebackers in this draft really suck for what we need. We are better off seeing if Irving actually shows what he did as a prospect with a veteran guy behind him. If not I really would love to take a guy like Manti Te'o next year, he's an incredible prospect.

I disagree. DJ has experience in the middle and despite noit great in the middle was decent. Brown would get eaten alive on the inside. He better not be the pick but if he is I think he should be an outside linebacker only.

No he is not. That is your opinion and after you say you would prefer Brown inside over every MIKE in this draft as well as Irving I really do not but much into what you are saying as far as him being overrated.

Irving I didn't like all that much coming out of NC State but hopefully he has gotten better over the last year. He may get his shot to compete but your opinion of him being better than all the guys this year and Brown also is laughable.

They do say Zach Brown is comparable to Jon Beason...
jon beason is one of the best MLB in the league. can brown play MLB?

I kinda wanna see how Irving does next season. If he sucks then I'll be all for getting Teo. But he probably wouldn't be there at pick #32 . If that's the case Andrew Jackson from Western Kentucky.
