This game is a standing tradition for the last few years, and will continue this year with a even more diverse format. For new players you are responsible for Gm'ing a team trough the draft and Trades to make your team better. This year we will be stretching the game out and giving everyone time to prepare correctly for this game. I will be the Owner and responsible for overseeing the game, as well as grading your draft and FA trade period. You will get a grade for your draft and a grade for your FA period. The top 2GM's that win will get a 15.00 gift certificate to the team store at www.denverbroncos.com.
I urge everyone to look at the following threads for last years game.
This will kind of give you idea of last years set-up. We will be making changes this year though to a variety of things. As mentioned I will be the offical commisoner and Owner as well as official grader of the game. I also am looking for volunteers for a Assistant Comish who will help me out and also be a grader to balance things out. The Assitant can be GM and Trade council member but must be approved by me. The Trade council will consist of 5 players(meaning you will be a GM and trade council member. This trade council is where you will sumbit your trade proposals during the trade period. I urge everyone to not get crazy with trades as it will effect your grade trading a top player on your team for instance for no reason is a good way to get your grade low and trade denied by the trade council. There will be 5 council members responsible for getting the trades and approving them there must be 3 out of the 5 voting yes for a trade to be approved. DO NOT SEND TRADES TO ME AT ALL!!!!!! only trade council members. One of the Trade Council Members will be responsible for verifying all trades and ensuring that the same trade doesnt happen twice or the same pick gets traded twice for example.
The game will be open for everyone but vets have first priority to the game as they have done it for years and have been active with the game. Tomorrow through the 13th will be open sign-ups for Vet players. 14-20 February will be open sign-up for all remaing teams on a first come first serve basis. Every GM is also allowed 1 assitant. This means that if your new and want to learn the ropes you can play underneath a GM to get experience.
The game will start officially March 26th and we will have a 3 week trade period. This trade period will be post Major FA so it will be more realistic. Any current FA's still around on the trade closure day will return to there former teams. The draft will begin 16 Apr 2012 times TBD, and will conclude 22 Apr 2012 Times TBD. We will do a rd each day to allow for proper research of late rd prospects so the game flows smoothly. The grades will be posted at the conclusion of the real draft to allow the possibility of bonus points if the team your GM'ing selects a player you select in the correct rd. More will come as we get closer on the game.
As For the GM of the broncos that will be decided by picking names out of a hat. The first 4 vets and the first 3 new players in conjuction with the sign-up dealines will be dropped in a hat the winner selected will be the GM of Broncos.
