I still think Manning signs with Tennessee (If its about the Money) or 49ers (If its about winning a Championship). If its about hanging with John Elway, then I guess he chooses Denver. Do the math.

Originally posted by Wolf BrotherIncidentally, this was the ONLY way to get out from under Tebow, because all Tebow does is win, and its hard to replace a winner except if you can somehow get a HOF to replace the entrenched Tebow. LMAO. Backfired! No WAY Manning picks Denver unless his wife has a sister or mother living there!

If it comes down to AFC being more important than the NFC (A way to rule out San Fran out of this scenario), then why wouldn't he come here?
The Houston Texans are a much better team than the Titans with or without Peyton in my mind. Kenny Britt is a run in with the law from being suspended 4 games, and he's coming off an ACL injury. Nate Washington and Damian Williams are quality players, but nothing to be excited about. Chris Johnson is a cool player, but I don't think Chris Johnson is going to really sway PM's decision.
The Broncos have a much easier division to win. Heck, they won the division with Tebow playing QB with what looked like a prosthetic arm. Manning would give the Broncos the clear advantage in the division race, which would have to appeal to him due to it being the easiest way to make the playoffs (duh). Demaryius Thomas is just as talented as Britt, probably even more talented. Decker is comparable to Williams/Washington in terms of talent. Now, the thing that could separate Denver the most is the fact that they could still go out there and sign Clark, Saturday (replacing our weakest spot on the line), and trade our first for Mike Wallace.
I know I've said a post similar to this one about 4 times now, but it's still just the way I see it. It's objectively looking at it. The Broncos give Peyton the best chance to get back into the playoffs via an AFC team that is still in this race.sigpic

Tennessee has Chris Johnson and more pieces in place. THey signed Hutchinson and have a better offensive line. Pass protection in Denver last year was HORRIBLE. The only thing that enabled Denver to have any success was Tebow's ability to extend the play. Running QBs can make bad teams and offensive lines look better than they are.
