Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

He was a monster no doubt but RB's never do it 100% on their own and it's such a brutal position filled with so many injuries constantly that I can just never see spending a 1st rd pick on one unless it's a clear AP ...
But I do respect your opinion, I just wouldn't do it, even though Forte is a great RB no doubt
Fair.. though I put forte in the AP range myself. not only for his running but in the pass game as well. I get where you are coming from with your views on rbs.
It's a bit of a pipe dream to be getting forte either way I don't really see it happening... but I will tweet him constantly Telling him to demand a trade to Denver
Like I said elsewhere, it all comes down to the asking price.
I don't worry about his injury, it was a sprain which can happen to anyone. It's nothing like ligament damage.
He'd add a young feature back to our offense for at least 4-5 years after we lock him up to an extension.
We know what we are getting from Forte, and Manning would be able to continue to utilize him in the passing game as the Bears have in the past.
I think the biggest question (apart from the trade compensation and money) would be how you feel about Forte as opposed to Doug Martin. If you absolutely love Martin, you probably stay put at 25 and trust your scouting that you have and draft Martin to be your young feature back.
Unfortunately we have too many defenses needs to spend draft picks on him. He'd be great to have, but McGahee and who ever else splits with him are plenty good and therefore he doesn't warrant a high draft pick from us... If all we had was Moreno it would be another story.
I'm ridiculous? Because I correct you when you're wrong?
Matt Forte is 26 years old with 1,014 rushing attempts in his 4 year career (average 253 carries per year = low)
Adrian Peterson is 27 years old with 1,406 rushing attempts in 5 years (average 281 carries per year = low)
That's not a lot of wear and tear. Try again.
You corrected me on this post, not in the Ryans thread, you said give me 5 better MLB's I gave you like 10 that are hands down better n you didn't like it
N it's just your attitude ...omg I have absolutely NO idea what I'm talking about first when I said Ryans wasn't a top 5 MLB although I did say I thought he was a great player and also now because I forgot only an MCL ended Forte's season and not an ACL which is usually the case when it ends your season

You're slow. Whatever dude, I'm not going to argue anymore
NE Patriots & Chicago Bears have been discussing a blockbuster deal that would land Forte in New England (Pats offering 2ndRd & 4thRd pick) #IBN sources are saying that this deal has picked up major steam the past 48Hours and something could pop at anytime.. Source is stating, Pats view Forte as the last piece to a major offensive juggernaut, only thing that may stop this deal from happening is the Bears insisting on another high pick this year or next year. My source states this will be worked out sooner or later and we could very well see Forte running for Brady & the "Hoodie" soon...
