Free agent TE Joel Dreessen is visiting the Broncos on Thursday.
Owen Daniels' backup the past five years, Dreessen has already visited the Saints, Bengals, and Titans. The Broncos may have an advantage, as Dreessen is a native of Fort Morgan, Colorado. Denver is also interested in Jacob Tamme.

Would love this signing.

Much better blocker than Tamme, and you dont lose much (if anything) as a receiver. Could be another really solid player for EFX.

Would much rather have Dreessen than Tamme. Dreessen is a very capable blocker, better than Tamme and is underrated as a receiving TE. I would love to pair the veteran presence of a guy like Dreessen with JT!!

the threat of someone who can do either is much better than knowing what kind of play we are gonna run with a specialized player

i like that we are shoring up the offense and then can focus on defense in the draft or even make a draft day trade for someone

I don't know too much about Dreesen. I'm just going off of what Houston Texans fans are telling me at school.

They say Dreesen is not well-rounded. Tamme is a better pass-catcher (and has familiarity with Peyton Manning), and Matthew Mulligan is essentially an extra offensive lineman as far as blocking goes.

We lost two tight ends, I'd prefer bringing two in with specialties.

I definitely would not be mad if we signed Dreesen. Just thinking there are better options.

we only have 2 on the roster thomas n green hes gunna be gone 6 games...we need at least 3 prolly 4 im hoping we sign at least 2 more then no need to draft one or if we do its late rd pick bcz we have other holes...
