Amobi Okoye is the only free agent on that list worth a damn, IMO.

He'd be a great rotational player for us.

We could definitely use a 3rd pass rusher. Gilberry sounds intriguing, and Andre Carter is still available as well, albeit getting up there.

And I know I'll probably get slammed but I'd love to get London Fletcher. He's old but hasn't missed a start in 10 years. And it's not like Mays' youth makes him a long-term option; he's clearly just there in case Irving isn't ready. So if insurance is what we want, I'll take Fletcher's Gradishar-like 166 tackles all day. The man's a beast and could be the QB we've been missing at MLB.

Wallace Gilberry would be a great value signing.

Yeah honestly how many Tom Bradys have there been besides Tom Brady lol. I think Brees might have been a 2nd rounder, but that's pretty much it. I'd rather use our later round picks on guys that actually have a chance to play football at the NFL level.

Hell, Cutler was a sleeper as a #11 overall (still can't believe the Reggie Bush hype lmao).

Here are some of the value guys I like that are still out there:

-Jamaal Jackson - C- long-time starter for Philly was injured in 2010 and lost his job in 2011 due to a scheme change. In 2009 and before he was one of the best C's in the league and is still in is early 30's. Should come on a 1 year prove his worth contract. Would be great competition for Walton and if nothing else would give us another option to try in short yardage situations (is significantly bigger than Walton).

Dan Koppen- C- similar to Jackson here's another solid vet that could be brought in for pennies on the dollar and compete for a starting job.

Leonard Davis- G- again another vet that could help out on the OL and won't cost much if at all more than the vet minimum. Was a good starter for Dallas in 2010 but didn't get to play in Detroit last year.

Wallace Gilberry- DE- I'm not sure if he'll be cheap as he is young with upside, but moving to a 4-3 defense could greatly benefit him and he could end up being a really great value. He's a bit undersized for the 3-4 he played in with KC and thus was relegated to passing downs only. He put up a huge year in that role in 2010 and was not bad this past year. At worst would greatly improve the team's pass rushing DL and could easily take the starting job from Ayers.

Rotational DT's including: Shaun Rogers, Gary Gibson, Justin Bannan, Derek Landri, Fred Robbins, Leger Douzable. While pretty much all of the every down types are signed there are a lot of solid rotational guys that could come cheap. If the Broncos once again attack the DT position with quantity instead of quality they could probably pick up a few of these guys at reasonable prices.

Put me down for line depth:

    C- Andre Gurode
    OG- Eric Steinbach
    DE- Matt Roth
    DT- Amobi Okoye

Put'em in camp and make them win spots. If they don't play well, cut them.

Gurode and Steinbach- both of them are done and would be downgrades to both Walton and Beadles as surprising as that may sound.

Jacobs- I hear he is likely to stay in NY. Also he's really not much if at all better than Lance Ball and he has a terrible attitude. I'd pass.

Braylon- an interesting option gives the team some insurance if Deck or DT go down or just aren't up to the task. Curiously though hasn't received much, if any, interest in the market despite WR's being in high demand this offseason.

Matt Roth- makes sense if he comes cheap. He's very solid vs. the run, but is he too similar to Ayers?

Okoye- obviously makes sense with our lack of DT's. That said I don't know how cheap he'll be. Also you have to wonder if his performance in Chicago is the real him or if he'll revert back to his form with the Texans. Given his age I tend to side toward the optimistic view and thus would be happy to have him.

In that case, will pass on him. 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks are valuable.
Elvs, Brandon Marshall, Quinton Carter former 4th round picks. Why wast it on a guy that has a high bust potential.

Braylon makes a ton of sence. Yeah he isnt the best, and he drops a lot of balls but so do DT and Decker. But he makes plays and he can play the X. Which wouold move DT to the Z and Decker to the slot where he belongs. Then next season if DT is ready for the X give it to him and walk away from Braylon, if not give braylon another year
